got distracted and stumbled upon this video regarding IPFS (InterPlanetary File System) never got the chance to look into this before but watching this demo video from 2015... this is pretty neat! it kind of reminds me of zeronet or beaker. you can run this and quickly serve or share any types of files likes pdfs docs epubs html txt video files mp3s etc or even just set up a web site or a blog to the public.
but it’s very public. and there doesn’t seem to be any privacy with this. from the demo video i see IP addresses of all the peers connected.

i don’t know but it’s still very neat. maybe i’ll play around with this and make complete mirrors of some of my tumblr blogs here on IPFS. it can also serve as a backup to some of the images and pictures i’ve posted up too.
