@deceivior it's really you!!!
Whoever's sick idea of a joke this was. Shadow wasn't having it. All day his phone had been flashing with a caller ID of someone who used to live on this island. Someone he was so close with, and now…someone was toying with his emotions and blowing his phone up, just sure he'd see Vio's name constantly popping up on his phone. He was sure of it.
In a fit of rage, and all his infinite wisdom, Shadow chucked his phone into a bush, once this person got their kicks, he would retrieve his phone later. But, for now, he could live without it. He still hardly used the damn thing anyway.
But, now he's angry, and he'd do better than to waste away in the wish granting shop just stewing in it. Once the threat of daylight has ceased over the island, and night began to wash over the city, Shadow grabbed a couple of things like his ocarina and sword.
"I'll be back." Called the shade, it wasn't strange for him to be gone during these hours. But, given his wound was almost good as gone, he was trying to avoid the shopkeeper's ire by constantly sneaking out. "I'll be back before dawn."

Archimedes was just a train ride away, and while it was short, he still found himelf sitting down, avoiding any eye contact with anyone else on the train. He was just going out for a walk. Maybe even checking the job board. So, when the NOW APPROACHING: ARCHIMEDES sign illuminated in the train car. The shade stood, and hopped off of the platform once the locomotive made its stop. Shadow beelined for a particular path. He had been frequenting Saviors' Respite as of late, and tonight was no exception.
He had some steam he wanted to blow off, and without resorting to violence, this was his next best option.
The field was empty as expected. He hadn't asked anyone to meet up with him. So, maybe now he could finally give this woodwind a go.
It didn't take much for Shadow to float upon a pine and post himself against the blinding silhouette of the moonlight. Carefully he began to blow into the instrument, plugging the holes to form notes in a rhythm. It was a song that the young Link that used to live with him in the Mistwood had taught him.
But the notes came out hallowed and grave sounding. He didn't particularly care for the sound, but...He guessed it fit. Shadow was playing it by ear, after all. It had been so long since the young boy had played it for him that of course, he'd get the notes wrong.
It's not like there was anyone else here but him to listen anyway. And that's just how it was going to be, wasn't it?

there's a good chance he defaults to "vi", but he very well might add on to it with things like "vivi" or "vivo".
if he's in the mood to be a bit more playful, maybe annoyingly so, he'll throw out "not shadow" due to their similar appearance ( colors aside ). also because he's far more used to shadow approaching him than vio, so there's an almost relieved air behind it.
@deceivior continued from here
Zelda approached him calmly. She was glad that this wasn't her Link. His stupid face would make her feel bad for the ploy she was about to pull on this guy. She looked over Vio curiously. All purple and his eyes didn't hold that innocent sparkle. They were calmer.
"I see. You may not be, but you're still a Link and that puts my worries at ease." She clasped her hands over her chest. "I just arrived here and been wondering about alone."
There were far too many children running around on their own for her liking. While it's true that age doesn't necessarily mean that one is incapable of defending themselves, Tsuru can't find it in herself to look the other way when she sees someone a great deal younger than herself. For this child in particular, though, it isn't his fighting ability that worries her. It is instead his uncanny resemblance to another child she considered herself at least somewhat familiar with. Now isn't the time for questions, she supposes. What matters now is making sure that he doesn't go running off on his own again, especially in this dense fog that now covered Archimedes.
"Can't see a bloody thing around here," Try as she may squint through the fog, she can't see but a few feet in front or around her. "Well, enough of that. I forgot to ask...you aren't hurt, are you? Let me see your hands." Without waiting for an answer, she's quick to grab hold of both his arms and kneel down, starting to thoroughly check for any nips and cuts. "Are you in pain anywhere? Be honest, it will be quick and painless."

“Ah, Vio. How absolutely lovely to see you again.” Vaati had a grin on his face, though it most certainly was not a friendly one. No, the sorcerer had something up his sleeve.... something by way of Shadow’s memories, and a vague understanding of what Vio had done in the past. “I must say, it would’ve been better for you to keep hiding away like a coward- but I suppose you four sword fools aren’t smart enough to know how to look away.”
@deceivior || ❛ I remember, long ago, another starry night like this ❜ || i like musicals im sorry ( accepting )
The silence between them was a given. As far as Shadow was concerned they were just watching the night sky. Maybe even sneaking a little shut eye in. The city was always so busy anyways. Needless to say, the broken silence caught him off guard. He tried to mask the tiredness in his voice, but he could only do so much.
Shadow stayed laying down, just opting to roll over, keeping his back to his company.
“...As do I.” He doubted they both would just forget...He almost wishes he could, but that is beside the point. “You know. At the end of the day, I think I’ve made my peace...” Shadow yawned slightly...A nap would be nice.
“Do with that information what you will. I’m learning to trust you again.”
@deceivior || literally everyone should’ve seen this coming
“This is getting old!” Shadow, now patched up thanks to Cassandra’s efforts, had procured an oil lamp to light his way through the dense fog. But, not even that seemed to be enough, it was barely enough to light the area surrounding him. And, to be frank, he was beginning to grow irritated by the minute by his limited field of vision.
His frustration had proved to be getting him nowhere, it felt the longer he trudged along, the more lost he had become. At this rate, he was just tempted to run back into the fires that plagued the Mistwood, at least he could see there!
“Is anyone around?” He hopelessly called out, using his hands to project his voice just a bit further. Shadow couldn’t deny how tired he was, but, this uncanny paranoia was going to keep him awake, so he mind as well try to find some more permanent company, he figured.
