Going Home
She hadn't even had time to settle in before she made the decision to come home. She felt so stupid, doing this to people she'd never met before. Raking a hand through her hair, Vriska bit down on her lower lip to keep it from quivering. She wanted to tell Rain but she couldn't face her. She just...couldn't. Tears streaked her grey cheeks as she sent another box through the transportalizer as quietly as she could.
She'd message them when she got home. That'd be the end of that. She felt so...stupid...Not only had she fell for someone who already had a girlfriend, she developed a pale crush on said girlfriend. God, Vriska didn't know she could stoop that low. But it was alright. Soon she'd be back home and...Forgotten. Right where she should be. Pausing for a moment, she wrapped her arms around herself and muffled a sob in her hoodie sleeve and pressed her back against the wall.
Slowly, she sank to the floor and wrapped her arms around her knees, despite Leon and Widow pressing against her sides. The troll hiccuped.
"Momma messed up 8ig this time, guys...She got in way over her head..." Vriska whispered softly, running her hands along their bodies respectively. Widow butted against her hand while Leon scrambled to drape himself over her shoulders. Standing up slowly with Widow in her arms, Vriska grabbed her bag and made her way into the kitchen, quickly scribbling out a note.
"Rain, I went home. I shouldn't have imposed on you or Dick and I'm really, really sorry a8out that. You can keep the necklace I gave you and just...I'm really sorry. -- Signed, Vrisky."
Pulling away from the table, she picked up her bag against, stepped onto the transportalizer and tapped in her hive's code, zapping away. When she made it home, she dropped onto the floor and finally, after holding it in, let out a loud sob, the sound bouncing off the empty walls. She was home. And, once again, alone.
