Ryan had been at the bar, he had been having a decent day and decided he would get himself some drinks.

he was sitting drinking taking sips of his peach and like daiquiri when another man sat next to him and ordered something. At the sight of said man Ryan’s face fell. Brendon was next to him, and Brendon hadn’t noticed Ryan till the bartender handed him his drink and took Ryan’s empty glass away and mixed him a new one.

‘oh hey Ryan, funny seeing you here’ Brendon said and awkwardly grinned at Ryan and took a sip of his champagne.

‘hi, yeah uh it’s good to see you’ Ryan said and took his glass refill from the bartender with a thanks

‘so um are you like good?’ Brendon said and swirled his drink around.

‘Uh yeah I’m neat’ Ryan said with a awkward grin and looked behind him and saw Jon standing there talking to some ladies, some time before Ryan called him to come to the bar so that he can have a sober driver and now Jon was here but Brendon was also here, awkwardly trying to talk to him, but it was kind of difficult to talk to him after so long.

‘that’s good, I myself am doing pretty good’ Brendon said and he told the bartender he’d pay for Ryan’s tab. Even though the conversation was awkward and tense Brendon wanted to do something kind.

‘oh thank you, you didn’t have to’ Ryan said with a nod and twiddled his thumbs

‘least I can do for a Ex’ Brendon said and then he chuckled a bit to preformatively and patted Ryan on the back. Ryan didn’t say anything to that, that was just out of the blue, him and Brendon never dated Ryan just left the band

‘um i think im gonna get going now Brendon, have a good night’ Ryan said and drank the rest of his drink and patted Brendon’s hand

After the concert Ryan had confronted Brendon about messing with him on stage. Ryan didnt like it and it made fans think they were something, which they weren’t and Ryan didn’t want to be. No matter how much Brendon kept flirting with him during northern downpour and when he stood behind him while he sang behind the sea. Brendon just couldn’t take the hint, or he could but he just assumed Ryan was playing hard to get.

There was a party after the show, Pete wentz from fall out boy hosted and they were drinking and Brendon, being tipsy had been overly messing with Ryan the whole night, even Patrick had tried telling him to quit it, and Patrick is a very calm man. When Brendon didn’t quit it Ryan had started getting pissed and started yelling at Brendon. He loved Brendon as a friend and that was it. He couldn’t handle the constant non platonic love Brendon was radiating. After than Ryan left the party.

Brendon and Ryan had never really liked eachother, Brendon always thought he could sing and play better than Ryan and it pissed Ryan off to no end whenever they had to interact with eachother. Patrick Had been trying to convince them to work together since both of them were talented guys. And eventually they had to join together since both of their bands broke up. Even though they got popular, Brendon and Ryan still hated eachother but to make their band more appealing to the fans Brendon would frequently do the ‘stage gay’. And after a show one day Ryan had started liking it to much, it was absolutely humiliating how red he got in the face. So he had to go confront Brendon and ask him to stop, but Brendon was being provocative and talkative so Ryan just left.

A few days later Ryan had been in the hotel while Brendon was doing his hair to go out. He was so obviously flirting with Ryan, Ryan could tell, cause he was stupidly doing it back. Till Brendon walked over and gave Ryan a kiss; a kiss Ryan couldn’t help but resiprowcate it. Though Patrick came in right when they had started getting a bit heated. ‘Uh okay boys.. just wanted to let you know you have an interview in two hours okay? You can go back to whatever it was you were up to’ Patrick said and he grinned and left the room, atleast their getting along?

when Ryan woke up that morning It was to the sound of his dad hitting his door, really hard, the door actually broke and his dad was standing there in the doorway with a crowbar. Ryan obviously shot up in bed and Brendon, somehow stayed asleep. Oh and Ryan’s dad was so furious Brendon was in his bed. Because now he knew who Ryan was doing all this queer junk with. He made Ryan and Brendon grab their stuff and leave. And while they were leaving, Ryan’s dad genuinely ran across the street to Brendon’s house to bang open the door to yell that their son was a queer. So by the time Ryan and Brendon had walked to Brendon’s house, his parents were furious, especially his dad, but Brendon was lying, he looked at Ryan before he said everything like a genuine plead tk know he was lying. ‘Dad, cmon you know I’d never be a fag! What’s your guys problem I just slept over! I don’t even like guys like that I’ve had girlfriends before, I’d never even thought about it! I swear! You know me don’t you!’ Brendon said waving his hands around and Ryan’s dad went and left and Ryan was left standing with cheeks red with embarrassment. Brendon started then going off on how Ryan got kicked out and he needed a place to stay and that he could keep him in his bedroom. And Brendon’s babbling eventually got cut off by his parents saying sure to letting him in his room since Brendon’s speech about not being a queer was very believable.

At night time after the Urie family ate dinner, to which Ryan refused to eat because it was some strange looking food that was to oily looking. Brendon’s door was locked and him and Ryan had been in a moment of making out before Ryan’s stomach embarrassingly growled. He turned bright red and covered his face with his hands. ‘God brendon maybe if you ate normal food I would be so hungry!’ Ryan said trying to keep his composure while Brendon put his hands under his shirt and ran his hands up and down and muttered, ‘I can get you something to eat,’ Ryan just shook his head and pulled Brendon back in for another kiss. ‘Maybe after’
