So I’ve been working on a C2C blanket for my mom. I am on the back half of hte blanket, so I decrease at the end of every single row. This part of the blanket is flying by, especially because there are long stretches of one color so I can really find my groove.

I created this blanket using the C2C technique but I’m sure you could just as easily use this to create a SC graphghan
This one functions more like a small throw blanket rather than a full-sized blanket

I am almost done my first ever graphghan (even though it’s honestly more of a lap throw?)
It’s been a really great learning experience. This is my first project ever using bobbins (mainly due to the billions of color changes) and I’ve enjoyed it! The project moves quicker than a C2C and I like how each row has the same number of stitches (unlike a C2C) but I wish the stitches were bigger.
I will post soon with an image of the finished project, the graph, and the written pattern!

Here’s an update on my current project. It’s a blanket for my sister. I got the pattern from Daisy Cottage Designs but I modified it with yarn that my sister picked.
It’s a really easy pattern to work up, which is a nice change of pace from my previous project. Each Cluster V Stitch takes 18 inches of yarn though so I had to roll up so many 1lb balls of yarn in preparation.
I also made the original chain v long because I wanted to make sure it would fit the bed. And boy does it fit...so looks like I might have a queen sized blanket

This is the finished product of my Shamrock C2C blanket! I messed up on a couple of tiles/squares, which you might be able to tell. But overall, I am very happy with the outcome! It is approximately one Me tall and one Me wide, so about 5ft by 5ft :D
