I just wanted to give an update on my debt free journey. From May to September I’ve paid off 1,166 dollars in debt on my car loan! That might not seem like a lot, but look at what the difference are for my debt pay off date! I went from April 2024 to May of 2022! I cut off almost two years of payments because of using the debt snowball method! If I’m able to, I’m even going to have my car paid off before the end of this year! Fixed the car, repaired the house....I can barely remember paying anyone for any kind service. We would NEVER pay someone to do chores we could do ourselves. // Heather and I are pair of DINKS with pretty demanding careers. We're generally gone from 7am-7pm and collapse when we get home. We travel (mostly out of family obligations) on weekends and volunteer at church on weekends when we don't. // We have very little free time at home. Before we finished BS3, our evenings and Saturdays used to be driven by our chore chart. // Now, we can enjoy our city and each other with the free time we have. It also gives us the time to pursue other things we love and are passionate about. // The quality of life increase outweighs the cost of the service ten fold.
