New podcast on Fast and the Curious! Lando It sounds like it really was just the one day in Perth! Lando said he made eggs for everyone the morning after they arrived and was left to do the washing up! The "illegal stuff" he mentioned in the F1 interview was riding motorbikes without proper protective kit 😂 He mentioned how he and Oscar have chats every race weekend about what they expect and their own debriefs afterward. (I'm sure most teammates do this but Andrea said that he likes how much they work together so it must be pretty special!) Him being hard on himself is about having high standards for himself which he feels is what's made him who he is today. He likes staying out of the chaos of contracts and changing teams. Said again how comfort for him is important because honesty and trust is better at a team where he knows people. They talked about how much people adore Lando and he said how much he appreciates it and still isn't used to it. He thinks he has the best fanbase. 😊 They said he seems genuinely happy and he really did! Oscar He'd had a flapjack that morning! They said how Oscar was the first "thing" they'd ever recorded and he clarified that he's human - so cute 😊 And he is their most frequent guest! Said he felt more settled and comfortable as opposed to the second half of 2023 hitting him "like a train" with how busy it was. Feels better now he knows what to expect. He pretended to get upset when they said they wanted to see Lewis win 2024 WDC 😂😂 Fred Vesti had told them that Oscar decided to stay away from the Alpine twitter drama (35:20) by playing chess with him since they lived next door at the time! His wisdom teeth gave him problems through the season and he should have had them out twelve months before. Oscar does not call his car a "she"! The only reason he called a car "Silvia" because his mechanics wouldn't let him leave until he named it 😂 He said that he and Lando will always work hard to help the team to get the most out of the car ❤️ While it's nice to have compliments he knows neither compliments or criticism will make him drive better so he just needs to stay focused.
Fewer teeth = weight saving 😂 That's it! Very cute and they both sounded super happy despite the weather!

The more things change the more they stay the same etc etc isn't it crazy how the night changes etc etc, or Shane is Ryan's comfort for 8 years now.

also ryan just unprompted talking about how shane is attractive (a tall drink of water) so it would make sense that ghosts would want to fuck him. that entire conversation was also just absolutely insane.
(also ive recently gotten back into watcher after just phasing out for awhile and it pleases me to know that these two have only gotten gayer)
That answer really was something else like. Firstly Ryan dodging it with the "no because I'm married" and Shane coming up with a hypothetical of "what if you were single. Unattached. And a ghost hunter" like.... okay... and then the "Hey fella. Let's bone down, brother" like that is not how a ghost of a woman would talk. But you know whose speech pattern it is? Who calls Ryan brother after saying something very sweet? Yeah that's Shane so. Makes you think.
Also Ryan calling Shane a tall drink of water and asking him jokingly if he makes you horny baby? (As if a ghost but you can see Shane being soo flustered). And then calling himself increasingly silly names to make him laugh/diffuse the flirting tension?
I'm trying to describe this but like. It really is a lot. They are so gay and flirty in this video and intricate ritualing themselves into more confusing rituals (If Ryan is a nugget and Shane is a liquid then yknow. They fit together or something).
Also welcome back they did some extremely married things this year alone and probably will do more knowing them.

THE WALKIE TALKIE CONVO WAS CRAAAAZY ryan hesitating bc he knows exactly how it sounds. like yeah shanes voice is too comforting for me to be entertainingly scared on my ghost hunting show. Why are you gay
It's soo much isn't it. Like I'd take the rempod interferring as an explanation already but he had to be like. Shane's voice brings me comfort because it's familiar and I'm not scared when I hear it. Also I could always ask for help and he'd come save me. They also joked about this so you could see that he's trying to change the topic but then he sums it up as Shane's voice being comforting.
It does make me wonder if he decided to call Mari during ghost files alone and text Shane and not call him because he knew that hearing his voice would be too comforting and he wouldn't be as scared anymore. But it is interesting.
It also kinda makes me think of my theory that when Shane signs his challenge letters with "❤️ Shane" it's to replicate that kind of comforting prescence during Ryan's solo. Like yeah he can't hear him but Shane's friendship and love is there locked in that quickly squibbled heart next to the most annoying/scary challenge given to man.
It just occured to me that Ryan called the ghost hunt basically a date. And Shane reaches out to him to hold his hand on camera many times this year. And they want to do ghost files forever. They are really in love huh.
"This was basically Shane and I going on a date to the Natural History Museum. And there happened to be a camera crew there. And all the lights were off. That's basically what this was." okay ryan lmfao.
He is correct and he should say it tbh.
It really was a museum date with the lights turned off, from the way they both were impressed by the dinosaurs and Ryan joking and making Shane laugh to them going "woow check out tjis thing here" but the sweetest to me was when they were reading that quote on the wall aloud and then Ryan saying that he would say something better. To me that was flirting and this was indeed a date and if this is the episode with the weird/wonderful vibes then that means that most of their shoots are dates to Ryan.
I'm not surprised tbh if they see their ghost hunts as spooky dates and travelling for the live tour as roadtrips then they can romanticize anything. I also think that them seeing the ghost hunts as dates is why they don't take other people with them. Like yes the crew is there but they are background noise at this point. A guest would ruin the dynamic of staring into Shane's eyes in haunted houses.
