I am not at all a hearts and flowers type of girl so it might seem a little odd that I am featuring flowers on my blog, but bare with me.

My distaste for being given flowers as a gift is not because I don’t appreciate their beauty, it is just that every bouquet which has been purchased for me has been pastel, pretty and perfect – which just doesn’t suit my style and looks out of place in my home.
