Ok so my favorite thing about translating Destiny novel scenes is that as a joke a couple of times Dearka calls Yzak “Lord Commander” to get a rise out of him. “Taichou-dono,” which, also looking up how “dono” is commonly used nowadays, it’s used as a joking way to exaggerate age, so essentially Dearka is calling Yzak a cranky old man and I’m living for this.
I fucking love these two so much they’re perfect.
