Imagine aliens being so confused by human folklore and superstition. Not just because some of these creatures could be potentially plausible from their perspective, but because in comparison to all the nonsense humans themselves are capable of and all the insane fauna and flora they live with on their deathworld which have caused them to become so nonsensical, why wouldn’t they believe that there’s really big, hairy humans wandering around in places where it tends to get really cold? Or things that will fly through the air and breathe fire at you? Or beings-who-you-thought-were-dead-only-they’re-not-and-now-they’re-trying-to-kill-you-that’s-flipping-every-battle-ever-a-human-has-been-involved-in-so-of-course-I-thought-the-zombie-movie-night-was-a-history-lesson!!!!
