Popcorn Rating: 4.5/5 — Points for creativity, loses half a bucket for making me suspicious of ceiling fans, lawnmowers, and logs... Again. Smart enough to work, dumb enough to be fun, and exactly the kind of chaos we signed up for.

Death is back, baby—and it’s still inventing the most convoluted ways to kill people since the invention of overcooked toaster strudels. Look, we all knew Death was petty, but Bloodlines proves it’s also a little extra. This movie brings back the nightmare machine of the earlier films — only now everyone has better eyebrows and more trauma.
The premonition scene was so absurdly intense I actually yelled “OH NO” out loud like a cartoon character.
Bloodlines brings in a new generation who don’t seem to have learned anything from their franchise ancestors. It's formulaic, but that's half the fun. You’re not here for Oscar-worthy performances—you’re here for people getting obliterated by everyday objects in ways that would make a Looney Tunes episode look like a safety PSA.
And lets not even bring up the trash truck because.... No thanks.
However,
Instant classic.
It's the exact kind of absurd overkill we expect from this franchise—and it delivers in full, splattery glory. The setup feels almost too mundane: a slow-moving garbage truck, a jogging pedestrian, and a leafblower (because of course). Then it escalates into full-blown chaos involving a compactor, a trash truck driver more concerned with Tinder, and a ball, triggering a Rube Goldberg chain of death so elaborate it’d make a Bond villain take notes.
By the time it ends, you're laughing, cringing, and questioning how something so stupid could be so effective. It’s gruesome, ridiculous, and 100% Final Destination. Trash day has never been deadlier.
In the end, Final Destination: Bloodlines might follow the franchise blueprint, but it does it with just enough flair, tension, and twisted creativity to make it feel fresh. The kills are outrageous, the setup is tight enough to keep you hooked, and there’s even a sprinkle of self-awareness that makes it all the more fun. It’s not just a nostalgic return—it’s a bloody good time.
