Hey babygirl! Mamas here! I just had a thought about something I do that I want you to do too.

I don’t shave, I just don’t ever do it unless I feel like doing it. And I won’t want you to feel pressured by sociatal standards to do it. If someday when you start growing hair and all that you want to shave and you feel better shaving then by all means honey ask me and I’ll teach you how but I want it to be your choice. Not boy/girlfriends, not society’s rules, not anyone’s choice but your own. And this ties directly into feeling comfortable in the body you’re born with and making your own choices to own yourself and not let anyone make these kind of choices for you. I also don’t wear makeup unless I expressly want too because it’s supposed to be a fun activity that makes you feel good about yourself not a chore you have to do to fit in. Especially if you don’t want to wear a bra. I will ask you when your older and start developing them if you want to wear them but if you tell me no you don’t then that’s your complete choice my little love and screw every fucking person who tries to tell you you have to wear one. I swear to god if some school some day tries to police how you dress I will come in there kicking and screaming and throwing the biggest fit and I hope you tell them to fuck right off because you will know by that point that your expression of self is sacred and no dress code is gonna change who you are. You are not a distraction because someone can see your shoulders, no person with a decent personality your age will see your shoulders and be like “oh my god now I’m horny thanks Dellaura” like no! Hell no! Your father and I will happily go to bat for you in this situation.
