chanel left the house for a few minutes to make a phone call. to her surprise, there was someone she didn’t think she’d ever see again. not in this lifetime, at least. “ oh, look, ” she said, excessively sweet words rolling out of her mouth. “ if it isn’t everybody’s favorite football player. ” she approached the sofa he was sitting on. without waiting for a reply or worse, for an invitation, chanel took a seat right next to him and flashed him a wide grin. “ how’s our shining star today? ”
