DeadlyTriad / Sombra x Widowmaker x Ashe Headcanons I'm happy to write for them c: I think this polycule is rly interesting and I'm happy to explore some of my thoughts surrounding what their relationship would look like. I've kept them sfw, but if you'd like some nsfw ones please send an ask through. They're under the cut because I rambled a lot, enjoy!
How was the relationship formed? Who confessed to who? I like to think that Olivia and Amelie had a secret relationship already, and had already established to each other that they're non-monogamous (or at least would like to explore that within their relationship). When Amelie met Elizabeth on one of Talon's missions in the deep south, she could tell that Elizabeth felt something for her, and with Olivia's consent, Amelie explored this with her as much as she could without being caught. They enjoyed each other's time a lot, not putting a label on their experiences with each other just yet. After some time, Amelie would've told Elizabeth about her relationship with Olivia, fully open to the idea that she might not be comfortable with this or might me strictly monogamous. Elizabeth was open to meeting Olivia, and discussing more about what their polycule would look like with one another. When they did and had a proper discussion about boundaries and rules, that's when it was decided that they'd feel more comfortable with each of them dating one another, or at least having some connections with each other. It didn't have to be labelled per say, but at least something beyond friendship had to be established with each other for everyone to feel comfortable. Olivia and Elizabeth built up a connection, starting from a sexual bond to romantic, and this helped to project their love for Amelie more.
How do they show love to one another? Amelie likes to show her love for Olivia and Elizabeth through her words; she struggles with understanding her emotions, let alone verbalising them. It's something that both Olivia and Elizabeth had to understand at first. However, Amelie likes to make an active effort to understand how to verbalise her love for them, and she'll tell them during romantic or sexual moments, to watch the way their faces turn crimson at the kindness in her words. She's not one to verbalise things, so when she does her partners know it means a lot and know how important that moment is for Amelie. Olivia likes to show her love for Amelie and Elizabeth in different ways, because of her connection to each of them. With Amelie, she likes to use her words of affirmation and remind Amelie that she's never alone, that she loves her and that she's important in Olivia's life. Olivia knows how much it means to Amelie to be reminded of that, especially if she's going through a bout of depression, so she makes a conscious effort to remind her whenever she can. With Elizabeth, she takes more of a humorous approach to showing her love - she likes to tease her, and rile her up. Elizabeth will do the same back to her, rarely backing down. Olivia knows how hard it can be for Elizabeth to trust people after what Cole did, so she makes an effort to distract her from what she might be thinking, and likes to use humour to show she appreciates her greatly. Some ways she might do this is though small moments like spilling water from a bottle whilst drinking it, saying “Only you could turn spilling water into a dramatic, slow-motion scene. You should be in movies." Elizabeth likes to show her love to Amelie through physical touch. Elizabeth is a physical person, and likes to make her feel loved with a hand on the small of her back, a gentle thumb rubbing her cheek, a kiss on Amelie's shoulder blades, things like that. It's her way of expressing that she loved Amelie without having to embarrass herself by saying it. Amelie eats it up, and enjoys when Elizabeth makes a conscious effort to hold her or give her a small kiss somewhere insignificant to others but important to Elizabeth. However, when showing Olivia love she likes to do acts of service as a way to show Olivia she's listening to her, and wants her to feel loved. It's not something Elizabeth is willing to do for her partners usually, but she likes to listen to Olivia's complaints of the day and figure out logical ways to prevent them from interfering with her life further. Often times, she'll be seen setting up something new for Olivia to use at her PC, or cleaning if Olivia's complaining about back pain or headaches (that sort of thing). It's important for her to do these things for Olivia, and Olivia values the consideration behind her actions a lot.
How do they cuddle with each other? Do they all sleep in the same bed every night? They don't tend to always sleep together, with Amelie getting overwhelmed by the amount of body heat under the blankets. She already would get overwhelmed with Olivia or Elizabeth alone with her, so adding all three sometimes is too much for her to handle. Their main bedroom has a large, Alaska King sized bed for them to cuddle on and sleep together in when they want to. Often times, Elizabeth is holding both Amelie and Olivia in each of her arms, lying on her back as they lie on top of her. Sometimes, Amelie will be the little spoon for either Olivia or Elizabeth, with the person that's not being spooned spread across the bed, hogging most of the space. They don't have a preference for it, and don't care who gets cuddled every night (unless it's always the same people spooning, leaving the other out). When any of them are overwhelmed, though, they have a double bed in the spare bedroom for anyone to sleep in if they need some space or want to sleep alone. Amelie mostly uses this bed as she can be very particular with the way the bed has to feel heat, texture, and comfort wise. She has a strict routine, and sometimes if Olivia and Elizabeth are already in bed, the thought of being suffocated by their heat is enough to make her want to sleep alone. Amelie doesn't mind it, and doesn't consider it to be something negative in the relationship. Having the option open to any of them to sleep on their own or in a pair if needed is important, and they value having the space to communicate that without judgement.
What does their home look like? Do their styles clash? They each have their own section of the home that they decorate and maintain. It's what they had to implement so that no arguments could arise. Amelie's part of the home is the living room. She's the one who uses this space the most, so she feels she should have the most say in what goes on in there. She likes to have a sort of cosy aesthetic in those areas; a dimmable lamp in the corner of the room, with a cream velvet-like sofa, fairy lights around the bookcase showcasing her favourite novels, things of that nature. She wants her space to feel like an escape from work and the world around her, to feel safe and welcoming to people. Olivia's part of the home is the office space - she's the only one who needs to use it, so they all agreed to let her have free reign over the interiors of it and respecting her decisions with lighting, décor, etc. She's opted for a more cyberpunk aesthetic, with elements of alternative/punk themes intertwined in them. Above her desk, she has a square light that stretches from corner to corner that can be dimmed or have it's colour changed to whatever Olivia's feeling, with her storage units being designed to look as though they're apart of the walls. She likes having LED lights and neon signs around, so Elizabeth and Amelie chipped in to buy her some she might enjoy. They don't know this, but she has a graffiti wall behind her desk and likes the way it adds a grunge aesthetic to her office space. Elizabeth has free reign of the garage and back garden that's attached to their home. She's not too into the idea of decorating, being too used to moving homes so often that she never got a chance to decorate properly. However, after encouragement from Amelie and Olivia to explore her taste more, she asked to have control over the back garden and garage since she uses them the most. For the garage, she had a ranch door installed where the kitchen attaches to it. It's not too breezy, so Amelie was completely fine with it (deep down she really liked the idea too), with her motorcycles being stored in there. The garage is like her cave, with tools everywhere, stickers for bikes, old plaques everywhere with funny slogans (very millennial humour). The back garden has a wooden, sheltered porch, with a set of swings covered in pillows and blankets from the night before. There's a small table next to it, with an ash tray and a bin next to it for when Elizabeth wants to smoke in peace. The garden has a gravel path that leads from the porch steps to a circle in the centre of the grass, with a table, more chairs and an umbrella for them to have a drink under and enjoy the rain. It's important for Elizabeth to have some fresh air, so she takes pride in how the garden looks.
Who's the most romantic in the group? Elizabeth's definitely the most romantic, often taking time out of her day just to show Amelie and Olivia how much she appreciates them and loves them equally. With Elizabeth, she likes to show her love and admiration for her partners after the hardship she's gone through in the past with her exes. She gives her all, often using both her words and actions to show how she feels to her partners. They appreciate it, and always reciprocate it in their own ways. They love it when they come home from a Talon mission, tired and exhausted, to a clean and organised home with dinner waiting on their living room table. If she's not awake to enjoy the food, she always leaves little notes besides each plate telling them individually how she missed them, and what she missed about them. Sometimes it's suggestive, sometimes it's purely romantic and sometimes it's a mix between both of those. It's just her simple way of showing she loves them equally and values the impact they've both made in her life.
