6 month hiatus is over and I should slowly get back into my brainrot. Nothing much to add onto this, draft was germinating for too long.

CONTINUING FROM CHAPTER 21

Funny thing about this chapter is that this lil shit of a scene has been in my mind since April of last year, but until I got to this point of my headcanon story line, some changes happened and this is what I settled for. Also funnily enough, with last update and new Rem lines, it's implied that Shiv doesn't like being alone, or to be more specific, lonely. That's just one interpretation though, it might imply some other things too. I know they removed patron lines for Shiv where it implied things about him being father, and that lore bit might be removed for good, but who knows. I decided to leave it in my hc version because well, this is just my headcanon thing that I do for the sake of me playing with dolls. New Venator lines however suggest he did something horrible though, although he might be seething just because he is Venator, him being more angrier at Shiv than Drifter is kinda telling to me.

CONTINUATION FROM CH20

HOLY SHIT the amount of will I had to pull out of my ass to finish this one is unbelievable. mostly because my ego got confronted with things I usually don't draw a lot and that's hard movement, fight scenes and similar. I think it's kind of palpable in last 3-4 pages, I also fucked with cintiq pressure settings so I don't obliterate my hand with pushing down hard on the surface. and being overall pooped when I come back from work so there were days where I just wanted to do nothing (nothing = game of deadlock) But I am happy though overall.

Yeah, moment I got some vacation time was also time I'm able to finish this one up. I spent really long time thinking how would Vindicta end up in a nightclub in a first place, and I'd figure she'd go if it's something related to achieving her goals, damned be all rest. Although, since she seems like outcast for most of the part I think she wouldn't bode well in nightclubs that were filled to brim with people and cigarette smoke.

Some new appereances! This chapter was written before we got glimpse of what Cadence looks like, so it was perfect time to switch to it, I was about to use my own design I made some time ago, but I love when its offical (sort of, iunno). I also kept Krill as he is now in game, mostly for clarity sake. I really wonder what they will come up with the design, or will they leave him as he is.

Paper I had with songs was for the last part when more dancy tune starts to play, but my stupid ass lost that paper. I did manage to dig something out, it was hard to find something really specific I had in mind for a song, but Mildred Bailey - Taint What You Do , will, in fact, do.

This was supposed to be in last chapter, but I felt it would be tad too long, so I split this part from the rest. And as I was in the middle of lettering this chapter, update had to drop and elevate my hear beat to oblivion, I really dig new icons! BUT i can't play it yet, because 750ti is giving me 25 fps, weh.

This would also be first one I did completely on Ipad and Procreate. App in itself is crazy, it feels very good to draw on it... but I still miss my tablet. I apologize for handwriting in this one.

Vindicta that I like to imagine is a dummy that was sharp focused on hunting her enemies and she never allowed herself to be well, more free I guess? Although I find it ironic since the song ''Simple Gifts'' that she hums definitely has some connotations of freedom. That, and that she's barefoot is biggest indicator to me that she's supposed to embody this free spirit of sort, but she's too locked in her revenge.

And Shiv would be ideal person to push her buttons properly.

Previously in my delulu land

Alcohol, dancing and general tiredness tends to get people into a sleep paralysis... of sort. Just a somewhat silly little intermission I had come up with between regular chapters, for some reason I felt it's kinda empty between last one and next I had planned.

AND NOW, we go into her head for a bit.

This one sort of came naturally after previous one, I think quite bit of things in here are self explanatory. I imagine she's type of person who would choose to be in comfortable hell instead going into unknown bliss...Weighted down by her own fate and fate of 18 others. Would she ever give herself chance to see herself differently? Or would she be stubborn in her own pain?

I was fidgeting whether should I post this chapter in full or in parts, and I said ''fuck it lets do parts'' since there are two specific scenes, so it's not biggie if they get separated. First one was this one, I could imagine Vindicta in her quest for Hawthorne finding Wraith in her office and bribing her for information.

Although, one thing that blocked me for sure was the fact that I didn't spend much time thinking about Wraith as a character, because I found her to be pretty straightforward. Which is opposite of Vindicta, who had zilch info when I started playing this game and got me intrigued.

Second part is focused more on Grey Talon and his wife and I'm looking forward doing that part.
