Something was burning. Yua didn’t know what it was, but something was. And as the origami artist grew closer, shrieks sounded out. Someone was shrieking. Yua trembled as she inched closer and closer. And then, she saw it.

As if someone had released the floodgates in Yua’s eyes, she began sobbing. Carrie... Box-chan... dead. Both dead. Carrie, who Yua had never spoken to. Box-chan, someone she might have taken comfort in... Both of them were dead on the ground. They were dead, and somebody had taken their lives for no reason. 

Club officer elections? Yua was quite confused at first. She had never done anything like that before. Well, she barely understood the idea of clubs at first as well. But it seemed like they had to vote for people for these positions, and could run if they wanted to. This was quite a conflict. Did they have to run? If so...

Yua slightly raised her hand. “Um... I’m probably... probably not the best... the best, or even... even going to be good... but I’d say I’m alright... alright at writing things... so if you wanted me... wanted me to be secretary... I could do that... I’d be useless at anything else though...”

Was that running? Yua didn’t know. She lowered her hand, and her head with it. Public speaking had never been Yua’s strong suit. It was scary. But now came the other hard part. How was she supposed to choose people to do these things? She couldn’t pick just one person?

Yua didn’t think she had been to an orientation in a long time, if not having never been to one before, but she was pretty certain that they weren’t supposed to go like this. Still confused, she took a look at her handbook. How did you use this? While fiddling with it, she pressed her finger on it, and it opened! Hm. So that’s how it worked. 

She tried her best to navigate to the rules somehow. As she read them, her worry only increased. Murder? Murder? Oh no. Oh no. This was bad. Yua could feel tears forming at the edge of her eyes. She didn’t want to die, and didn’t want anyone else to.
