Because I can't help myself I have to point out that Assassin's Creed has repeated a protagonist before - Ezio Auditore da Firenze was the protagonist of AC2, Brotherhood, and Revelations. AC2 is still possibly my favourite game in the series, and when I traveled to Florence last year I experienced the "I've climbed that building"-feeling several times. 😄
thank you so much for pointing this out!! I just downloaded the whole Ezio trilogy (and in doing so was like...oh I was VERY wrong lol) and I'm so excited to dig into his story because I've heard such great things about AC2 - so glad you loved it!
and I'm so glad I'm not the only one who goes to a real city and is like "it's blorbo from my video games!". Florence, just full of climbable buildings 😂
