Anna Sellheim’s comics tend to be primarily political or focus on mental health. An alum of the Center for Cartoon Studies, her work has been featured on the Nib, Upworthy, and 7 Days. She is also in a few anthologies- most notably Sweaty Palms, Dirty Diamonds Vol 6, and the upcoming Comics For Choice Anthology.

Nun Comix is the name for Kaila’s (mostly) autobiographical comic zines. She draws scenes and stories from everyday life, with a special focus on lgbtqa issues, (a lack of) fitness, and living with anxiety. Her most recent book, Someone's in the Kitchen with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, is half foodie zine and half self-help. She hopes to make people laugh but also find something to relate to.

He is also a member of the DC-based comics collective Square City Comics. In addition to drawing comics, he has also been a college radio DJ, a community garden organizer, a library worker, a barista trainer, and a comedy improviser. He lives in Washington DC with his wife and two cats.

JC is a zinester and a librarian who writes about disability and mental health. Tributaries is about her experiences related to juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, and Collide is a compilation zine on the intersection of physical and mental illness.

Jade Feng Lee is a cartoonist based in the DC Metropolitan area. Her work often draws from personal experiences to explore visual fantasies and themes of identity, growth, and connection. She is currently working on comics inspired by her family’s food culture on her creative site, Dumpling Heart.

Swamphouse Press (previously known as Cheap Dates Press) makes perzines and fiction chapbooks. Founded in 2014 by Maricat and Brendan, Swamphouse Press is located in Washington DC. They’re very excited to bring back their perzines and are also planning on having more Dungeons and Dragons content this year!

The Doldrums is the creative project of Julia Dann and Pamela Carroll. Longtime DC residents, creatives, and rabble-rousers, Julia & Pamela decided to bring together their love of dope visuals and print media in 2016 and find new ways to creatively engage the city they love so much. 

Vinyl Vagabonds is creative project about vinyl records--anything about the triumphs and tragedies involved in vinyl music.  Sara and Eric Gordon have been writing and drawing about record culture since 2010 in the Washington, DC area.  Their zines feature hand-printed covers, lots of original art, and a range of topics including traditional record reviews, travel writing, and how-tos. The creators also make a variety of mini-comics such as Mr. Squibly, Adventures of a Terrified Pickle, Verse Scribble Verse, Thank You for Your Cooperation: Robocop 1987 Fanzine, Better Know a Ramen, and more.
