after   being   at   rowan’s   place   for   an   hour,   hadley   started   to   notice   that   something   wasn't   right.   rowan's   anxiety   seemed   to   heighten   as   the   night   wore   on.   purposefully   trying   not   to   be   in   close   proximity   to   her.   at   one   point   while   they   were   watching   a   movie   on   the   couch,   her   arm   brushed   his   and   he   looked   away   from   her,   fists   clenching   in   his   lap.   hadley   didn’t   want   to   pry   or   make   things   worse,   so   she   stayed   quiet,   watching   the   screen   in   silence.   blanket   over   her   lap.   then   she   noticed   in   the   corner   of   her   eye   that   he   was   staring   at   her   …   and   was   suddenly   closer.   “you   okay?”   she   asked,   concerned.

she'd been sneaking around the club all night, trying to avoid sebastian as much as she could. but in the end, he was sneakier. and sober. she'd slipped out of the bathroom after someone who had brought her some pills and after popping them into her mouth, she was suddenly being grabbed and tossed over a shoulder. she knew it was him and she shrieked before smacking his ass as he carried her through the crowded club. "SEBASTIAN CARUSO! UNHAND ME RIGHT NOW!" she shouted, but she felt his fingertips dig into her ass to get her to stop shouting before she was being tossed into the back of the SUV. she tried to scramble out of the other door, but she was being pressed against the seat and she glanced up at her bodyguard, feeling flustered and beyond frustrated in that moment. "i will fucking kick your ass, dude. let me out," she growled up at him. but she also felt every rigid muscle beneath his clothes as his body is pressed up against hers. her heart was racing in her chest and she was ready to pass out. nour let out a quiet whine and squirmed, "come on! i just wanted to have some fucking fun, you asshole."
