helping other charters was all part of the territory, considering they were BROTHERS. they all loved the SAME club & wore the same leather kutte. he had been taught from a YOUNG age that you NEVER turn your back on family & this was no exception. the club needed PROTECTION, heat coming in the form of a rival club. the denver charter didn’t have enough muscle to push out the competition, which was where his club came in. with the COMBINED forces, they had been able to successfully scare the club away, though he wasn’t stupid ; they would come back. the club would ALWAYS come back. it was the MAIN reason his club was STAYING in town for a while.
walking into the clubhouse, he removed his DARK sunglasses, eyes scanning the room. a few of HIS men were already there, mingling with the lingering women. the others would be arriving SOON. after stuffing the sunglasses into his kutte, he walked up to the BAR, requesting a beer. the cap was tugged off, discarded on the wooden bar top. he took a LONG swing from the bottle, turning his head to see who was beside him. he assumed it’d be another BROTHER, though he was pleasantly SURPRISED to see otherwise.
❝ what’s your name, darlin? ❞ his voice was SWEET as he took a seat on the stool, attention FOCUSED on the female. ❝ those assholes on the couch haven’t caused any issues, have they? ❞
