I absolutely adore your DCA Nutcracker AU, it’s one of my favorite AUs! Would it be alright to request the Nutcracker!DCA dancing with a Clara!Y/N? Or just them interacting in general, whatever works best for you! 💜 Happy birthday again! :3

Honestly got sidetracked a bunch of times during the holidays so i couldn’t draw them much last year. Thought of making a drabble but then again i can’t decide how to write it— Just drawing them here and there for now. more of my ramble in tha tags

And the new additions are~ Freddy, Cassie, Gregory (again), and of course Mini Music Man!

Some notes about them:

Grandfather Frederich is gonna be a little bit like the OG Barbie Drosselmayer, overprotective and a stickler to the rules. But becomes a softie towards his grandchildren and has a more gentle approach in lecturing them about their misbehaviors.

Gingerbread Gregory is not the same person as Y/N has back home btw

He and Peppermint Cassie here are basically the candy twins in the barbie movie, but with more than just a couple of snowballs as their choice of defense against the Rabbit King’s soldiers that raided their village while they were out in the forest.

Cassie’s little dolly is a gift given by her older sister that was captured along with the other villagers unfortunately. But we’ll be seeing them soon.

I’m sorry for the lack of posts of the dca aus. I still love them and currently have ideas in store. I just got very busy ever since graduation also prepping for the boards and stuff, plus, I’m kinda terrible in fixing my own schedule.

This 'cast list' is still not official and not gonna be all of it so expect some changes. I wanted to include the other glamrock bunch and the rest of the security breach into the au as much as I could.

A little silly scene of the nutcracker having a crisis while a little spider catches our attention.

And an explaination on how they were cursed by the Rabbit King in this au of mine.

Much like the barbie nutcracker, Sun and Moon were originally supposed to rule their kingdom side by side after the passing of the previous ruler. But because the two constantly fight and have been at each other's neck until their debut to society, the ruling of the kingdom has been passed to the kingdom's advisor Springtrap.

Upon receiving the power of the ruler's scepter, the Rabbit King uses its magic to turn the two princes not just into two separate and abled nutcrackers.

Oh nooo~ that would be too easy. Instead, he had them trapped into one singular body.

Have them fight within themselves on their own till either one destroys the other. That way, they'd be too busy ruining each other to even think of how to defeat him.

Making himself into the Rabbit King has been planned all along apparently. As a witty little bunny tags along as his spy and is surprisingly a magic prodigy.

a bit of lore for the two:

Major Monty — as Major Mint kinda have contrasting personalities in terms of character but I think they have about the same temper and pride. Looks older cause of his mustache but is younger than he looks. He’s still got his mohawk underneath that hat.

He looks uptight now but was usually the rebel just a few weeks ago—the troublemaker who marched ahead of his squadron to attack the Hare King, ended up harming his friends as he was somehow left alone to escape from the petrification spell all thanks to his mentor shielding from the front.

Captain Foxy — is then Captain Candy, but is actually the older of the two and has more prestige to his name. Monty was already in charge when he arrived, and was insistent on being the leader so the old fox didn’t want to be a wet blanket to this fiery soul.

Captain to the Sea Dogs and a retired Royal Guard. Initially, he was just gonna take a vacation from voyaging with his crew to spend some time on the mainland and visit his daughter. Then a pesky rabbit happened to steal the throne, made winter take over the once spring filled land in no less than a few hours, caused his plans of relaxation to derail, his daughter is nowhere— oh and apparently he’s a father of two now. Not sure how that happened but he was more than happy to add little Cassie to his crew.
