This has been true for a while, but Jan 6, 2021 really brought it into stark reality:

"I support him, but not THIS." Cease your willful ignorance. He's told us EXACTLY who he is the entire time. From 2015 when he refused to say he'd back down if he lost the Primary and didn't receive the Republican Nomination, to his Rallies where he encouraged violence and said he pay for his supporters defense, to now when he CONTINUES to reject that he lost the election and eggs on his ardent base with bullshit. This is who he has always been, and if you can't see that, you simply refuse to.
If you supported him because you're a single issue voter and he "aligned with your values" you also have to own up to that. There were other options and you couldn't put aside your pet issue for the sake of the country. I find you morally lacking in every way.Β
I hope you've found the clarity to see your part in this, but it's far too little far too late. I don't want you to starve, but I don't want you breaking bread at my table.
