I’m just trying to play the damn game and I wanna get 4k
FINALLY finished this
This took me FOREVER. Anyway this is art I did for my boyfriend, its our dbd mains in the cosmetics we normally wear. I love old gay men, toscasen my life :face_holding_back_tears: (guys I dont actually know how proper lighting works nor do I know anything about rendering clothes..)
Nobody is using DBD as an incentive to create appropriately fluffy Trevorcard fics and I think that should be classified as a public disservice.
The setting is excellent for such purposes.
In Dead by Daylight they don’t even fix the gen they just be pulling on shit

The wait was long but it was worth it
After I revealed my new outfit yesterday on stream, I realized I never posted this amazing art by Gura_zura on twitter! Gotta get it out there into the world. Meyers is not the type to ‘Princess Carry’ me to the hatch, but I can hope that’s where we’re going lol.
Played Dead by Daylight for the first time, have some opinions on the accessibility for those who can't hear the audio cues, bc I cannot play with sound on (audio cues are hard bc I have ✨audio processing problems ✨):
1. How there's a chime right before skill checks, they could add like, a exclamation point or something like that right before the skill check happens. My girlfriend made me aware of the killer who's whole schtick is moving around the skill check so you have to look for it when it opens up, so I figured that if they have the exclamation point appear in the same spot the skill check normally happens, it would still have the same amount of help as the chime to make you aware that the skill check is about to happen, and draw your eyes to the normal spot, but still allow that killer to have their schtick mess with players who can't hear/turn off sound.
2. Put the heart when the killer is nearby in one spot. I personally think that it being attached to the PC makes it a bit harder to find on the screen, especially when you're a new player who ALSO doesn't play games with realism often. I'd love to see it on the bottom middle of the screen, because there's not much there, but it's also right there, so it's hard to miss when you need it.
and,, that's it for my little critique. Make them able to be toggled, bc not everyone will like them or need them (the heart is already able to be toggled, bless the devs), but yeah. Genuinely, I think the game is interesting, especially the lore, and everything I've heard of the devs has been good, especially in regards to the things they've already done to change the games to make them more enjoyable for their fanbase. I just would love to see more visual cues for those of us who struggle with or can't hear audio cues. And, if you're a fully deaf player, I'd love for you to add onto this post for visual cues you feel would help you as both survivors and killers in the game (especially bc I haven't played as a killer at ALL)
Please dear god, understand that this is a genuine critique by someone who wants to love the game, especially because I have loved ones who play, and it's NOT me being a hater! The game is fun! It's not a bad time, there are just some audio cues that should also have visual cues and some visual cues that move more than I, personally, like. I can absolutely play the game without these added accessibility features, but I feel like these features could make it easier to know what's going on audio wise, when you can't hear those things! Especially in a game where knowing what's going on is an important part of your gameplay. And, they've done amazing so far!! When the killer does something that makes noise, you get an arrow, which, just like an audio cue, helps me know to check my environment and determine where they are and what actions I should take towards winning!
