I think we all have the opportunity to have a tangible positive impact in our communities simply by improving the way we interact with each other. It might sound cheesy, but simply being excellent to each other can make a huge difference.

I think community service is incredibly rewarding. I participated in a lot of service events in high school, but for some reason once I reached college, I became too wrapped up in my own bubble. My idea is to organize wide-scale service events for the whole community. 

I am helping organize a dance reunion at my college as a way of reconnecting and supporting the program. I consider this part of my community ... I'm heading off for the first meeting today!  Hope this counts. It's been fun to participate, and best of luck. Debbie
