Omg thanks for talking about Fukumenkei Noise I almost scrolled past this post because you mentioned it was just like tsitp I still have trauma from reading the book series years ago and watching the series sad that the manga has a terrible ending for the ship glad that made a live action though which is the one I'll watch if I can find it with subs. Are there any series you know that has a jeremiah character that ends up being the endgame for the fl? It's rare for second leads to win in the end but it happens sometimes and I love to see it.

I should clarify that at this point, Pacey and Dawson had been broken up for months. Their relationship hadn't worked out, and Dawson had tried dating other girls, not caring that Joey was seeing other guys. Oh, and he had literally asked Pacey to become really close friends with Joey so he could be there for her, etc., since their breakup. Dawson essentially set up the system that led to these two finally falling in love. Before that, Joey and Pacey had a friend-fright relationship; they were always arguing, but ironically, they all hung out together, and Pacey and Joey were still there for each other when it mattered. And Pacey had also had a crush on Joey in season 1. Literally before Dawson.
