HIS  WORDS  ARE  GENTLE  ——  ;

soft  like  the  calming  canvas  of  the  ocean  ,  his  tone  lingers  like  the  manifestation  of  waves  on  shore.  his  presence  rarely  goes  unnoticed  ,  and  the  witch  wonders  if  it  was  simply  because  she  has  grown  rather  used  to  him  after  all  this  time.  his  existence  forever  tethered  to  these  chains  that  manifest  beneath  cobalt  gaze  ;  memories  belonging  to  another  or  perhaps  two  ,  his  destiny  is  fatefully woven  into  the  tales  of  land  ,  sea  ,  and  sky.  and  thus  ,  since  the  very  beginning  of  her  creation  ,  he  had  been  one  of  the  many  faces  that  she  has  grown  quite  familiar  with.

therefore  ,  she  suppose  it  wasn’t  too  surprising  that  he  would  even  take  the  time  to  listen  to  the  tragedy  of  her  woes  ;  her  hesitation  and  uncertainty  reborn  to  this  artificial  flesh  that  confines  the  resonance  of  her  own  heart.  (  she  feels  too  guilty  ),  namine  doesn’t  believe  she  deserves  this  miracle  of  life  while  another  is  missing  and  out  of  place.  their  connection  only  fading  on  whim  ,  and  she  fears  the  tiny  traces  that  remains  left  behind.

❝  —  but  i’ve  caused  so  much  trouble  for  everyone.  ❞  cherubic  words  cannot  help  but  protest  ,  ❝  am  i  really  allowed  to  be  happy  ?  ❞  DiZ  once  told  her  that  nobodies  cannot  feel  ,  they  do  not  have  the  right  too  feel  …  but  he  was  wrong.  nobodies  can  grow  a  heart  ,  and  even  more  so  become  a  perfect  replica  of  life   ——  roxas   and  her  and  xion  too  ,  were  perfect  examples  of  this.  and  yet  ,  can  she  truly  say  that  she  belongs  ?  did  she  have  any  right  to  be  in  this  picture  filled  with  memories  ,  when  both  of  her  creators  are  missing  ?  it  pains  her  too  think  ,  but  even  so  ——  she  knows  that  neither  kairi  or  sora  would  appreciate  this  line  of  thinking  and  so  she  sighs.

eyes  carefully  rises  up  in  place  and  she  greets  him  with  a  strong  sense  of  realization.  although  she  was  the  anomaly  borne  from  kairi’s  heart  and  sora’s  body  ,  it  seems  that  her  understanding  was  far  less  than  that  of  riku  ;  indeed  ,  he  understood  their  hearts  even  while  they  remain  apart  and  it  was  his  message  that  embodied  all  three  of  their  hearts  words  of  validation.  from  all  of  them  to  her  ,  and  it  was  right  then  and  there  namine  smiles.

     ♛ ————     ❝ There are so many ways of showing love to someone else. ❞     THE PRINCESS RETURNS to him, her voice oh so sweet & delicate. that topic so delicate as her very existence was one she’d been wanting to discuss with Riku for a long while. more often than not, they would go together through sleepless, restless nights, lost in the despair of what was missing. more like … who was missing. a big part of their hearts was gone, along with his departure, & it laid lost somewhere in a void no one could easily find … or even worse: find at all !!

     for both Riku & Kairi, there wasn’t much for the two to rely on besides themselves and one another. if there was someone out there who understood the girl’s feelings … was no other than him. her knight. he had always filled her heart with such bravery that otherwise wouldn’t be there if it weren’t for his constant support & adoration. he meant so much to her … his existence. his presence. from the very beginning that Riku had been her protector, her most reliable shield from the darkness & her trustworthy accomplice.

     besides … it wasn’t a lie; what she said.     as life went by ( even as inexperienced & young as Kairi’s was ) it did the favor of teaching her how love could exist in all shapes & sizes. in the end, love happens to be just that: L O V E. an emotion capable of tearing down skies and moving mountains in order to succeed. even if it sounded impossible at some point: Kairi liked to believe that everyone is capable of loving, no matter what. after all, the heart’s true nature is what it is. & when you truly love the way she does … the pain turns to dust. only light remains. that’s exactly why she still smiles.

    ❝ You can be by their side while living inside their heart. Protect them for whatever tries to cause them harm. Keep them safe from even themselves, sometimes. Like you said … trust them above all else. But how can you be sure it will all work out, in the end ?  ❞     there’s a brief pause from the girl, when, then …     ❝ Ahhhh !! … I guess love … is a complicated thing. Really. ❞     from the corner of her indigo eyes, she manages to get a glimpse of him. following her words, there’s a petite, playful smile. she’s so happy that he’s there … with her.

     otherwise, Kairi wouldn’t be able to survive on her own with the guilt of not having him, too.

     HIS BACK SLIDES AGAINST THE WALL as he comes into contact with the ground. he’s panting , running low on breath , after running away for what had seemed like hours ( but , in reality , was probably only a few minutes ).
