Our face mask production is now finished. We have the product and the demo of the packaging. We still have materials that we have to print for the packaging and unfortunately we have to wait until 17th of May because we can’t go out. 

After our prints and packaging is done we will have to do a photography for the mask and finally upload it to our Shopier store. 

As our packaging for the mask we preferred to use locked doypack. Inside of it we are putting a small card which is also working as a background for the mask. We are using this card as “thank you” card and informational card. Just as it is on our sticker packs we are saying “Bizi tercih ettiğin için teşekkür ederiz. Sosyal medyada bizi takip etmeyi unutma!”. There are usernames of our social media accounts on Instagram and Facebook. Also, we are saying, that our mask is not a medical product, it is an accessory, we are suggesting to use it on top of the medical mask, it can be washed in high temperatures and that it can be used a couple of times since it is washable. 

Also we are adding sticker on top of with our logo and QR code that goes to our Instagram account. 

Our new face masks are going to be released this week! We printed our first 10 masks. Designs of them were inspired from the Sticker Pack we made ourselves, DAVN VOL 1. It is a black fabric mask and on the right side of it (on the cheek) it says “If you can read this, you’re too close.”, we believe that with this design we are also able to highlight the importance of social distance. Under the text there is DAVN Studio logo. 

These masks are not protecting you %100. These are usually used only as accessories which you can wear on top of your medical mask, this is why they are a little bigger than usual medical masks. Our face masks can be washed in high temperatures, it doesn’t harm the quality of the print and design. 

We haven’t totally decided on packages yet but, now it seems that the mask packaging is going to be either black or silver daypack, or craft envelope. On both we will have to add sticker with our logo, a thank you message, our social media information, and instructions to use the mask. 

It seems that DAVN Studio is finally releasing its new product, FACE MASKS! 

We finally found a print place that can digital print on the face masks in small amount. The smallest amount was ten face masks, so now we are printing the first ten. 

We still haven’t seen the masks, but we are fingers crossed waiting for them to be ready. We really hope that they will end up good, because we couldn’t find any place in Ankara that can print in smaller than 500 amount. 

DAVN Studio Sticker Packs are finally sold in Cermodern Shop. As a group we are proud that we were able to reach out to one of the most popular modern art museum in Ankara. Since Cermodern is taking a commission of the sales, we had to sell every sticker pack for twenty liras there. So we also, did our sticker price on Shopier same, twenty liras.

Davn Studio is a brand that promotes and supports young artists and designers by making collaborations with them and using their designs in products Davn produces. 

Davn also does collaborations with brands already operating in the sector. Usually these brands are the ones where Davn may be able to promote the artists in collaboration. By doing collaborations with brands Davn also gives the opportunity of supporting artists to the brands. 

The name Davn comes from the phrase “being down for something” which means “to like something a lot”. (Sometimes you can see Davn using “Are you Davn for us?” as its brand motto. :) )
