THE CONVENIENT GROOM. I did enjoy this film. But, it took me iver an hour to get use to idea. Vanessa Marcil plays this Dr. who has a video blog, she is known for her advice about love. David Sutcliffe plays her boyfriend of yesteryear. The Doctor is about to get married and her publicist wants to film everything. Her boyfriend wants nothing to do it. On the day of announcing her engagement, he breaks up her. She is about to go on air, and David steps in and announces that he is the groom. They devised this plan to fake an engagement then break-up. Vanessa character is one that I didn't like. She is very controlled, and she believes that where this no conflict, there is love. David and her are always disagreeing on everything. But, this is Hallmark, they use their formula, and they have a happy ending.
