This is a throwback photo from 2004. This is a Wearever Zenith navy blue fountain pen c. 1944-1950 with an uncommon sterling silver cap band. The Wearever Zenith held the second from the top position in the post World War II David Kahn, Inc. line, behind the Pacemaker model. It sold for $1.95, including a 14 karat gold nib with Wearever's clear plastic "C-Flow" feed. The Zenith had a stepped "ruby" colored plastic cap top and cheap gold plated trim. The Zenith was offered in solid colors including maroon, coachman's green, navy blue and black. Packaged with a pencil, the set was $2.75. Wearever Zenith pens, when they are restored and have good nibs, can be fun writers. A good starter pen for a restorer or a new user. #fountainpen #wearever #zenith #pencollecting #sterlingsilver #davidkahn #penhero https://www.instagram.com/p/CitApeGPd3x/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
