Date night was probably one of the things Cass looked most forward to during the week, enjoying the chance to catch up with David and to just have fun doing whatever. This week they had decided on mini golf in Franklin Square after a light lunch at Square Burger. As they exited the restaurant, Cass looped her arm through Davidâs and meandered across the square toward the mini golf course. âAlright, I get that itâs literally miniature golf and all that, but didnât we always just call it âputt puttâ when we were kids? Why doesnât anyone ever call it that anymore?â Sure, kids probably still made farting noises at the name of putt putt, but that wasnât reason enough to change a tradition - at least not so far as she was concerned. âSo tell me, Davey, wanna put a wager on who wins tonight? I donât know about you, but Iâm feelinâ pretty lucky...â At least she was smart enough not to challenge him on the go-karts.
