Nadejda de Torby, daughter of Grand Duke Mikhail Mikhailovich, with her husband and children.

Romanov relatives at the wedding of the Crown Prince and Princess of Sweden [supersized]. The bride is Lady Louise Mountbatten, formerly Princess Louise of Battenberg, niece of Alexandra Feodorovna and first cousin of OTMAA.  The best man (and brother of the groom) is Prince William of Sweden, ex-husband of Grand Duchess Maria Pavlovna the Younger and father of her son, Lennart.  The attendants are the children of Louise’s sister Alice and brother George: Margarita, Theodora, Cecilie and Sophie of Greece, and Tatiana and David Mountbatten. 

Romanov relatives Nada de Torby and George Mountbatten, with their children Tatiana and David [supersized]. Nadejda “Nada” Mikhailovna  was the daughter of Grand Duke Mikhail Mikhailovich and his morganatic wife, Sophie. She was a first cousin of Irina Alexandrovna and her brothers, Nina and Xenia Georgievna, and Crown Princess Cecilie of Prussia and Queen Alexandrine of Denmark.  George was the elder son of Alexandra Feodorovna’s eldest sister, Victoria, making him a first cousin of OTMAA. His siblings were Alice, Princess Andrew of Greece and mother of Prince Philip; Louise, Queen of Sweden; and Louis “Dickie” Mountbatten. 

Nada was the daughter of Grand Duke Mikhail Mikhailovich and his morganatic wife, Sophie.  George was the son of Alexandra Feodorovna’s sister Victoria and Louis of Battenberg, himself a product of a morganatic marriage.
