On our way back from the wedding weekend in Collingwood, we stopped by the three breweries that were there (one was closed) and then we went on our way home. Along the way, we passed a tourist marker that said “Creemore Springs Brewery 9 kms”. I asked the wife is she’d like to go and she was game. Now that I’m just about on the other side of sober, David thought it was best to break out some Trappist beers. He gave me the choice of Chimay White or Achel 8 Bruin. Not having had the latter, I chose it. Of the 7 or 8 official Trappist brewers, this new one brings me up to 5 I think.
