ill start with mariana, sorry no pictures its 2am but it doesnt take that long to find my designs lol- i gave her wings above her ears, those have been there since before purgatory. she's an angel, and can hide her main wings (like magically make them disappear or reappar) but those ones aren't able to be hidden. she also looks more like a dove hybrid or some sort of bird and shares features w ppl like phil and jaiden so she could probably get away with blending in, ppl wouldn't rlly ask id Assume. post purgatory she has them out more but her cape gets in the way So. not much just for Practicality, lol. Otherwise shes really just Canon Mariana skin? The hearts on her cape i took from acetheabnormal bc its genuinely genius so no big reasoning there i just love that as a design element. the freckles r mostly bc i want her to give off a sun-kissed kinda ethereal vibe. she can hide her halo the same way she hides her wings but again post purgatory she doesnt bother anymore.

charlie is also pretty simple. unlike my c!slime he isnt fully slime, just partially. the parts in his skin that r slime have that little light bone-esqur thing on the arms and legs bc theres more than one layer so its actually like. Sturdy. Those parts can regrow and such. He bleeds normal from everywhere else and takes injuries the same way. the code hardens up that slime tho and the code Can bleed and be hurt so it fucks him over later. The bits in his hair r just bc it looks cool and also he probably has goop in his hair lets be honest. Ummm the scars are from the many explosions hes been in I.e guapoduo wedding And the elquackity explosion of the election afterparty thing. hes a shapeshifter Bc hes slime so thats why he has Tatas sometimes and othertimes Doesnt, namely purgatory bc hes shirtless as much as id love to #freethenipple. i give him green top surgery scars anyways bc its mostly to show hes Not Cis even tho logically it doesnt make sense. But ig you could say theyre from him reshaping the slime or whatever man.

hes a demon bc of that one-off comment he made about being sent BACK to one of the rings of hell. I think thats where the fandom got it and i was just kinda like Cool and then i got to that part and went OHHHHH and now i REALLY like it especially bc my mariana is an angel in disguise and he is Very Clearly a devil-slime-thing. He has a cool shirt jacket thing over his regular shirt Because it makes him look less naked design wise and the sash is there because it feels wrong without it. After codeflippa tho it disappears bc if u noticed in my codeflippa design she actually has the sash's little jewel thing on her camouflage Uhh whatever its called. For now ill call it cape but i know theres an actual word for it ill remember later and feel dumb. Anyways theres no practical reason for that i just thought it was cute. he has freckles ONLY on his nose and a bunch of em bc i saw another artist do that and he looked so cute i went I gotta do that. The rest are just kinda little ones spread around his body like Dots yknow.

THWNK YOU yea i did it on purpose!!! my au codeflippa is. actually flippa, involuntarily revived by the federation by pumping her with code as makeshift blood. same reactions from every1 though, ppl dont trust her bc she is Obviously a code, the only difference in my au being she is Also flippa. which is hard to get ppl to believe. she knows shes infected her dad but she doesnt wanna be alone, and nobody else trusts her. her worst fear is her dad finding out or coming to terms with the fact shes a code and realizing everyone else was right, therefore shes "not flippa", and she doesn't know how she could explain that away. Sorry for the infodump shes just important to Me. my codeflippa usually looks normal w only green eyes and binary around her, but thatd be boring to draw so i give her glitches n stuff. thats what her form would look like when she has less energy to hold up the perfect look. charlies convinced its just something on the island bc they both have it and so does etoiles so flippa probably just got it too! which she goes along with.

about mariana yeah absolutely.. he sees charlie at his worst and realizes its just a mirror of (code)flippa at her best (considering her true form is literally just full code and mariana knows that shes doing a pretty good job at not looking like it all things considered) and he's like. Fuck! My family is doomed by the narrative!
