She’s not their hound, not at their ever desiring  disposal. Her mother’s doom was coming. Pushed too far and threatened with another unforeseen, miserable punishment.  

Now, Carmilla wasn’t doing enough. Too useless. Too brooding. Not a concern that as soon as she  stepped underground, her body froze. Her eyes bore into her original demise and she stopped.  The demi-god took so much from her. No one cared.

The door leading outside slams, and she comes  to face with the tall red head. Danny. Not the  person she needs to see right now.

Who’s the first to wake up in the morning: Gianna.

Who’s the one to make breakfast: Claudia.

Who’s the one to serve the other breakfast in bed: Again, Claudia.

Who would suggest a quickie in the morning before work: Gianna, always. She’s very persuasive.

Who suggests they both ditch work to lay around all day: Neither. But Gianna would suggest ditching work for sex all day.

Who chooses the movies: It’s an even mix.

Who initiates kissing during the moving, thus distracting the other from the movie all together: Gianna.

Who orders lunch: Claudia cooks, therefore no real reason to order.

Who steals food from the other’s plate without asking: Gianna and it dRIVE CLAUDIA CRAZY. HALF THE TIME THEY’RE EATING THE SAME THING AND EACH TIME CLAUDIA PUTS MORE AND MORE ON GIANNA’S PLATE SO SHE WOn’T STEAL BUT SHE KEEPS DOING IT UNTIL SHE REALIZES THAT GIANNA IS JUST FLIRTING AND THEN SHE PUTS LESS AND LESS SO THAT SHE’LL BE FORCED TO STEAL FOOD.

Who chooses the movies: Danny. After Carmilla made her watch Nosferatu four times in a row, Danny made the executive decision to veto every time after.

Who initiates kissing during the moving, thus distracting the other from the movie all together: Carmilla. Don’t mess with her Nosferatu.

Who orders lunch: Around three, Carmilla poofs into the kitchen to find Claudiamaking food, more than likely for herself but steals it for Danny anyway.

The hours following the sun setting bring nothing but joy to the princess. The castle shuts itself down, her father and mother step into their chambers, her brother secludes himself with a whore of his choosing. As the candles blow out, the illumination fades and the point of navigation disappears.

It’s then that the seemingly princess takes foot. She draws sheets from underneath her bed. Tied together and around a stone beam that holds  her room up, draping it over the window. This isn’t a feat for an amateur. There are only a few moments between guard shifts where the castle is left without a lookout watching over her tower. 

The sheet blends within the night - always to return before the morning  sun sheds light on the black linens. 

The princess has left the castle. Freedom hits her in the form of  bare feet running against damp grass and into the shelter  of the woods. A bag, pants!!, along with other contents  turn the princess into just another person. 

A tavern. A smirk. A pint and a very sore loser that’s  lost a very large wager in a game of Hazard.
