Hawk went up to the top of the building. A dauntless faction member patted Hawk on the back before strapping him in to the parachute. Aim for the big X, he told Hawk. Hawk took a few steps back and then ran for the edge of the building, jumping off of it. Hawk flipped through the air twice before he pulled the strap on the parachute. The parachute opened, the wind catching the material and slowed Hawk's decent, giving him a chance to look around at the city as he defended. Hawk landed on the landing spot for the BASE jumping activity. He grinned and looked around at his friends and the people around. "That was so cool!"

Lex was off work and happy she could enjoy the summer festival. She spotted her candor parents through the crowd but lost them before she could reach them or catch their attention. Oh well, she would just see them later, she was sure. Lex wasn't sure where to start at the festival. Everything looked like so much fun. She hadn't seen Harry around yet, but that was to be expected since he would probably be with Crescent. The two had been inseparable lately and Lex was happy for her best friend. He was happy and she was happy for him. Lex was doing okay too, thanks to her therapy sessions and a new look on life. And Kole. So now she was going to have some summer fun. She was tapped on the shoulder and turned with a surprise. "oh, Hi!"
"Who the hell could eat this crap all the time?" Harry said with his mouth full as he sampled the foods of the other fractions. Needless to say, he said the same thin every year as he sampled the foods on the Abnegation stall. Yet every year he still came back to it. It was organic of some crap like that. He didn't think he could live in a world without hamburgers and beer. Hail Dauntless.
Comment: Roni see's her mom for the first time since the choosing ceremony and finds out a secret her mom has kept orm her for 18 years.
Walking around the party Roni was looking for three very specific people. Hawk, well he was her boyfriend and she wanted to make sure he survived that run he was going on. She loved to be able to do it, but as an Amity born she wasn't actually as strong on the jumps and tumbles as the Dauntless born were. Maybe in a year or two once she was more fitter. The other people she was looking for, her mom and Lily. She was sure they would be here somewhere. Her mom had promised to exploit all chances to see her.
She looked down at herself wondering if her mom would recognise her now. She was adorned in black pants, red vest top and beat up black leather jacket, gone was the orange and greens she'd grown up with. She was slimmer, her muscles stronger, she had a glow from being in love and she wasn't as closed off as she was in Amity, she was much more lively and happy. She wished Amity could have done for her what it was for her mother and sister, but Dauntless was home, she was happy there albeit sometimes bruised and broken in places, but it was just part of the places quirks.
Her eyes scanned the people from all the fractions mingling. It was nice to see everyone forgetting about the fractions and being together as one whole. Sometimes she wondered why it couldn't always be like this; but it was the way it was and always had been since the founders of their world realised the cause of all the old worlds problems. She continued to walk around until she stopped dead at the sight of a little girl, blonde locks framing her face. "Lily!" Roni shouts and watched as the little girl squealed and ran towards her.
"BRYONY!" The ten year old looked so much taller than Roni remembered but as her little sister flew into her arms, Roni lifted her with ease twirling her around. "It's Roni now Lily." she told her sister softly, her hand moving to the girls hair to smooth out the ruffles.
"It suits you sweetheart."
"Mom." Roni croaked out in a small sob and she put her sister down before hugging her mom tightly. It had been forever, it felt like they both lived in diferent worlds now.
"So tell me everything, how are your fights going? Your fear tests? Have you made friends? You look beautiful sweetheart. Let me look at you." Her mom looked her over, a smile on her face
"My fight's are going ok; It's always one stupid mistake that costs me the match when I lose though. My fear tests, aren't too bad, but I've not hit my big fears yet. Yes I've made friends, actually, there's someone I want you to meet... my boyfriend Hawk..."
"Warren? He was just a baby when I left Dauntless. And you're dating him? My baby has a boyfriend..." Roni let the information sink in with her mom and went on to describe the rest of her time within Dauntless, Emma her trainer, the blast, being fourth on the scoreboard. Things she knew her mom would love to hear about and her sister listened intently watching her with interest. "Bry - I mean Roni sweetheart, that's amazing you're so strong. It's like you have found where you belong."
"I really have."
"That's why I have something to tell you. When I met you dad. I was already pregnant with you sweetheart. I was a couple of months along when I chose to move to Amity. You weren't premature like everyone thought. Now your dad loved you with all his heart, nothing will ever change the fact he was your dad and how much we loved him. But your real dad is in Dauntless. He was married when I got pregnant with you. He already had a little girl and a wife and I didn't want to ruin that. So I left Dauntless to give you the best chance." Roni felt like the air was getting sucked out of her, she couldn't breathe and her chest heaved at the thought. Her dad wasn't her dad, her real dad was Dauntless. "His surname is Malkins."
"As in Liliam..."
"That's his little girl."
"You're telling me one of my friends is actually my sister..." Roni felt like the world was spinning. She was Dauntless, she had always been Dauntless and aside from her mom and Lily, all her family was in Dauntless, her mom's side, another sister and her real dad's family. Her mom nodded and Roni made a small noise of confusion as she tried to process everything her mom was telling her. SO she was a Dauntless born, born in Amity. Her mom had took her away from her home. No wonder she'd never felt at home in Amity. Roni had never belonged there. "I should find Hawk so you can meet him. Yeah, I'll be back soon mom."
She needed a few moments by herself and Hawk's hugs to help her through this. Try as she miht, she couldn't blame her mom for what she did, but hearing her dad wasn't her real dad was still a shock. She still loved her mom with all her heart. She hugged her mom and arranged a place to meet later before heading off to find Hawk.
