HE'S JUST NOT THAT INTO YOU.
I just finished watching this movie, apparently, it's adapted from a book by the same name, written by Greg Behrendt and Liz Tuccillo. I love reading and watching movies dissecting love, sex, dating, romance, and basically anything to do with attraction and the whole mating game.
I find it so fascinating, learning how things actually work; what I should or shouldn't say. You know? The works. It's such a well-written and produced film. Also, I love how nuanced it is. it's not the same old story about a single gal looking for love. No, we actually see the story unfold from different perspectives: single, married, gay, straight. And I love that.
Although there were some unbearably cringy scenes and corny cheesy lines, I'd definitely watch it again! Here are some of my favorite quotes:
Haha. Seriously though, stop dating or entertaining people who don't actually like you! Stop settling for the first person who shows interest because you're scared if you don't jump now, you may never get the chance again. Trust me, there'll be plenty more chances!
I tell my friends all the time, if a man wants you,he'll show you. You won't have to make excuses for his bad behaviour or asshole-ish ways! it's really very simple, Pay attention to what they do not what they say!
Well, this was harsh! I'll sit this one out because I don't have the correct words to actually say what I need to.
Please watch the film, you might learn something new. Plus, if you love happy endings, you're in for a treat!
