Lukas tried to think hard about what type of date Lux might like to go on for the auction date that Ori had won for him. The half-demon settling on a New Orleans theme for their date. Once that was settled, he knew that most of the date was going to be a variety of food. Lukas got everything prepared, which took a lot of time. He had to order one thing from the pastry chef at Red Velvet, but who would know the difference. He was leading the blindfolded Lux through the forest to a point where he stopped. “Stay right there.” He said softly before letting go of her shoulders and pressing play on a radio he had hidden. New Orleans style jazz filled the air. “You can take off the blindfold now.” He stated. Upon opening her eyes, she’d see all the trees in the immediate area covered in Spanish moss like they had back at home. The food spread on the extra large picnic blanket almost filled the whole thing. There was po’ boys, Gulf oysters on the half-shell, boiled crawfish, jambalaya, gumbo, and for dessert beignets served with café au lait. The other than the drink he had for dessert, he had Ramos Gin Fizzes or water if she didn’t feel like drinking. The half demon scratched the back of his head. He didn’t know if he wanted to look at her face just yet in case she was disappointed. He had worked pretty hard on this so he was nervous. “So, what do you think?”
