Before he got onto the bus, Glen turned around and surprised Taric with a kiss....

Then he grabbed him and gave him a hug....

GLEN- “I like how you feel, Taric. Very comfortable.”

TARIC- “Thank you....?”

GLEN- “Call me tomorrow, we can set up the rest of the interview.  I look forward to seeing you again!”

With that he waved goodbye and got onto the bus for his ride back to the city.

After they finished eating, Taric was comfortable enough to finally answer the question Glen asked earlier...

TARIC- “In response to your question...uh I guess I could say I am versatile. I mean it depends on who my partner is and the mood I am in.”

GLEN- “Good answer, but I really took you for a total top. You are very masculine and authoritative. “

TARIC- “Really? I have never been accused of being masculine or authoritative. But I suppose maybe I give that impression sometimes. I try to be just me. Being a bartender, people expect you to be a certain way.  Maybe that spills out into my personality.”

GLEN- “When you come to work with me, you don’t have to worry about that. Just be who you are. Creative and productive!”

TARIC- “That I can do! So, now that I answered the question....are we compatible?”

GLEN- “In order to find that out, we would have to well, you know, experiment.”

TARIC- “That would be interesting....”

GLEN- “Well, I took the bus here, as I hate driving, and the last bus back to the city should arrive in about 10 minutes.  Care to walk back to the bus-stop with me?”

GLEN- “Thank you for meeting me here.  I know this isn’t normal interview protocol, but I am not normal.  I mean I do not do things normal....Well I mean I do not want to run my business in a normal way.  I want things to be a little more relaxed.”

TARIC- “Oh, this is fine.  But thank you for agreeing to meet with me.”

GLEN- “Liam said you were really ho....I mean seemed like a good person, and he and I have been friends for years.  I trust his judgment. So you haven’t really worked in the web design field yet, right?”

TARIC- I did some freelance work, but that was when I was still in school.”

GLEN- “Let me tell you what my plans are for my venture....I want state of the art web design, yet simple and easy to use. I have a couple customers...one being Liam, that want me to create a web page for them.  Of course each customer’s business will be different and I want the pages to reflect who they are and what.....

Glen went on and on about what he was wanting to do.  Taric was not the least bit bored.  He was intrigued. This was something he really wanted to do!! Taric was a little intimidated with Glen, as he was quite brilliant with his ideas and his knowledge.  But Taric was also attracted to him....

TARIC- “You know, I could drive you home, you don’t have to take the bus.”

GLEN- “Oh...no I couldn’t take advantage of your kindness.”

TARIC- “It’s the least I could do, you did take care of dinner.”

GLEN- “Now, Taric, you need to understand, that there are times for socialization and times to step away and have your own space. I’m not ready for us to...have relations.  So let’s step back and give it time.”

TARIC- “Oh, I didn’t mean to take you home and then....”

GLEN- “It’s okay....all good things come to those that wait.  Oh here comes my bus ...”

GLEN- “I am not sure why I am doing this... but I am starting up a new business and Liam says this guy would be perfect for one of the web designers...and he said he was into him. 

 So as a favor to Liam, I asked him out to dinner. Mostly to see if he is right for Liam...or maybe me? Most job interviews I would have done in the office.  But if the guy is hot and single, I can make an exception to the rule...”

As the food arrived, Glen became eerily quiet. Taric thought he had done something or said something to offend him...Finally after Glenn did a thorough investigation of his food, he began to talk again...

GLEN- “This looks amazing, but looks can be deceiving.  I got a pizza once at a place over in San Myshuno and the cheese was cold and the pepperoni was really old.  Food is like people.  It looks so appetizing, but sometimes it doesn’t taste like it looks.  Don’t you agree?”

TARIC- “Yes, sometimes people are not what they seem.”

GLEN- “Well, just so you know I am what I seem. Nothing hidden here.  I am all about being open and honest. I like you Taric.  I think we will work well together. Business is business though.  What I would like to do with you after hours has nothing to do with the office.”

GLEN- (Face timing) “Listen Liam, I am busy. I am not sure I have time to talk to this guy, what was his name again?”

LIAM- “His name is Taric Esposito, I think he would be perfect for the position you have open. Just meet him, have dinner.”

GLEN- “Like a date?? Like I have time to date.”

LIAM- “I really like this guy, Glen, and you will too, just call him or e-mail him and set up a time to meet for dinner.  You will know in less than two minutes if he is right for the position.  I think he would be perfect.”

GLEN- “So he has no previous experience?”

LIAM- “No, but he has a degree in computer graphics. You can show him what you want, and I am sure....”

GLEN- “Okay, okay, I will email him. You are really into this guy huh?”

LIAM- “Well we just went on one date, but yeah he is nice. We hit it off.”

TARIC- “Oh, looks she is here to take our order...”

GLEN- “Great, I think I would like two slices of the pepperoni and a glass of your house wine.”

TARIC- “Sounds perfect, I will have the same.”

GLEN- “Don’t worry about paying, I got this.  I can put this on my business account, after all it is an interview, right?”

TARIC- “Yeah...

GLEN- “Okay, now you were about to tell me your preferred sexual position.  I mean this is vital. I mean if we are no t compatible sexually, we can’t date.”

TARIC- “Oh, so you are interested in dating?  I thought this was just a job interview.”

GLEN- “Hey, kill two birds with one stone I say..”
