This weekend was amazing. Getting to see him made everything so much better. Dealing with stress and anxiety over some family stuff was hard but being with him instantly calms me. He just has this way with me that’s so soothing and calming idk how he just gets me to forget all the stress and just be there.
This weekend we didn’t have any crazy plans so we relaxed which is honestly just what I needed.
We did go to one of my fave places and get sushi, we saw one of his friends that was super fun. We mostly hung out, relaxed. He wanted to play (computer) games for a bit with his friend, so I read a book I started on the plane.
That’s one thing I love about the type of relationship we have, yes I flew there to see him and spend time with him. But I also didn’t mind doing separate things together. I read a book he played games and at the end of the night it was just us.
On Sunday we went to brunch, hung out at his house we went swimming, we talked. It was perfect just like it was when I was back in California and I miss that so much. I loved that I was that comfortable, I was totally okay to do separate things for a while because that’s how he decompresses and I genuinely love reading. It was perfect.
My girlfriend and I took a three day weekend for a staycation. Enjoy 💕
Had such a lovely weekend
I went to a high school play on Friday with my crush. The students did an amazing job despite the audio difficulties and I enjoyed holding her hand and leaning against each other while watching the play.
Then I went roller skating with her Saturday night. The place was pretty packed, but we still had a lovely time. I’m also honestly impressed with how well I did. Last time I went roller skating, I couldn’t seem to stay on my feet. But I didn’t fall a single time on Saturday. I may have run a couple kids over who fell in front of me (nobody got hurt), but I stayed on my feet.
After roller skating, we went out to eat at a local pub that serves AMAZING chicken tenders. After dinner, we went back to her place and I stayed the night. We spent time with her pets and we watched a couple movies in her bedroom while we cuddled. It was such a wonderful night and I don’t think it could have been any more perfect.
We are going out to breakfast Wednesday morning since we both get out of work at about the same time. She will also be staying the night at my place this coming Friday. She likes scary/horror movies and has never seen IT, so the plan is to watch IT (not the original) and just spend time together again.
