Like, I only follow someone if a) I know them from something else or b) I just spent 20 minutes going back through their blog and two of the following: i) their about page is cute, ii) they post things that I don't see elsewhere, iii) they add witty commentary in either reblogs or tags. I've never been clear on how people know when they lose followers... like is there some tracking method or do y'all just remember the numbers?
Follower checkers tend to use a lot of computer resources or just straight up not work, so I just remember the number and check. I have 94 followers, so it's not THAT hard to figure out who's missing. Btw, people who follow me: you are all beautiful human beings and I promise that even if I don't follow you I know who you are. My inbox is always open if you need someone to talk to.
