DATA RUSH, a show at the Noorderlicht Photofestival, is a conversation that needs to be heard by all. While reviewing a range of artist's work, this in-depth article helps reveal the issues we knowingly and unknowingly face with digital media and the internet. Contemporary topics of media and its use are discussed while the medium itself is executed by all artist’s in unique ways. Surveillance, on many levels, seems to be the revealing theme.
