Sonicphonics "Data Change" from Exploded Views (2001) (feat. Billy Bang)
I would have been all over Geoff Serle/Research's music if I had known about it at the time. Fortunately he's posting a lot of it on Soundcloud for a second chance.
Geoff formed punk-funk-jazz group Research back in 1981 and has been recording tracks and making albums over the last 30 years. Working under the names Research, Sonicphonics, Radius, Shock Troops, Tek-San, Tok-Sin. Gradually some of these tracks will be appearing here on SoundCloud. Geoff is a drummer, percussionist, dj, producer and occasional promoter.
