You’re a fisherman’s long time suffering daughter who would rather do anything but get married and settle down like your older sister and brother did. You’ve begged your father to go out and travel but he would like you to settle down. After three years of begging he finally caves in but there’s one condition.

Just Business: Male Drider (Cavan) x F!Reader:

You and Cavan have been friends ever since his family moved into your hometown of Gilli. His family is comprised of master crafters and your father took quick notice of their talents and struck a business deal with them so he’d have exclusive rights to sell their wares through Maher Trade Co.. Over the years as you and Cavan grow, both your families pester you to get into the family business and neither of you are too fond of that idea. You’re both able to avoid talks of business and future with your parents until one day things get out of hand.

Masks: 2 Male Fae (Oisín & Darragh) x F!Reader:

Wesdewen village was your home and the only one you ever knew until the plague hit. In order to keep the family safe your father moved everyone away to a town far up north, that is everyone but your dear grandmother. Your family urged her to come with them but she said she needed to stay behind. Years pass and the once plagued village is now recovering. You receive a letter from your grandmother asking you to come down and visit now that it’s safe. With the blessings from your mother and father you venture back to your childhood home. You grandmother is overjoyed to see you and the both of you play catch up for the next few days. After you settle in your grandmother catches a cold and has to rest for several days. She seems nerve wrecked and upset having to be bedridden and when you finally calm her down enough she decides to finally tell you why she had to stay behind.

5 Wishes: (Singred) Male Orc x F!Reader:

Life in Delglen has been dull and painfully so. Day in and day out you help you family maintain a crumbling and once glorious estate that your ancestors built long ago. Every day you spend fixing or mending, never living and only wishing. One day you're sent out to forge the nearby forest for wild vegetables and herbs while your cousin goes to fish in Lily lake. You're extremely and unusually lucky to find a grand bounty and you don't think much of it until you return the next day.

Deep in the Dark: Male Orc (Sloan) x F!Reader:

You had been training as a massage therapist for almost five months now. It was a dream job of yours and when you were finally able to afford the class you were over joyed. Time passed and an opportunity to work at the most high end spa in the area came up and you knew you would have to snag it. The salary they're offering is more than generous but that wasn't the only reason you were interested in the position. You send your resume with referrals attached and cross your fingers that you get in.

Snowfall: Male Orc (Sloan) x F!Reader:

You and Sloan have been dating for three months now and everything has been great, well aside from the lack of alone time. You've been inducted into his friend group via Rynan's approval and everyone keeps inviting you and Sloan to hang out. You of course don't mind it but you wish to spend more time with just him. Apparently feeling the same he surprises you with a trip to his family's cabin up north. Just you and him and a cozy cabin with no possible problems or intrusions in sight, hopefully.

When you were a kid you loved reading and writing more than anything. As you got older you still did but hardly found the time to between work and helping your older sister with her twins. As time went by the twins finally got old enough for school and your sister met a really nice gal who got her into the local community college. With new found free time you decide to try your hand at writing again but feel rather rusty. Your sister talks you into the creative writing course they have at night and you love it, but there’s just something about the professor that seems oddly familiar…

Redwood & Wisteria: Male Werewolf (Logan) x F!Reader:

You had two loves in this world, traveling and photography. You were well known thanks to a circle of travel influencers but fame wasn't your cup of tea, in fact it was the reason you stopped leaving the country all together. It's been several months since you've last traveled anywhere and you miss it. You decide to do a trial travel venture and take up residency at a park in a few states over. After some back and forth with the park you strike up a deal on providing new photos for their website in exchange for room and board.

It was time for a change and time to get away from mom and dad. Your life had been carefully constructed to a tee down to where you would work and what sort of man you were to marry. This was all you had known until you visited a small town in the next state over. It was quiet and peaceful and everything you wanted and felt deprived of. Back home you did your research on the town and made a secret promise to yourself that one day it would be your home. It's now or never though and with the help of your only friend, you make your move.

The Lesser of Two Evils: Male Demon (Seth) x F!Reader:

To say that your life keeps taking one bad turn after another would be an understatement. Since the passing of your estranged father last year things have been getting out of hand. He apparently had accumulated a ton of debt and anything that he had went straight to the bank. Unfortunately he also owed quite a bit to some unsavory people who had tracked you and your family down. You set aside your dreams to protect your family from the 'collectors' and enter the world of three jobs and double shifts. After some time you fall into a routine and the collectors ease up on their attitudes. One day during break at the hotel you work for you pull out your old note books and binders and ponder on old dreams...

This year I plan to publish my first novel.

I've made a few attempts in the past but lost interest or life just happened. This year I have the motivation, the drive, and the desire to really want to hunker down and work on writing a book.

As of right now I've started my first rough draft and I'm hoping to have the opportunity to commission character and cover art.

I've set a semi strict schedule to follow that should have my first draft completed by mid-February and then I go over it for editing before I look for beta readers.

I don't plan on publishing until after I've put it through at least three rounds of drafts and edits to make sure everything is in order.

This book, if it's even semi-successful will be the first in a series of stories I share on my side blog @dashofmonsters.

Starting this month I'll be posting updates, news, and art on my characters. I don't plan to unveil the title of the book till the first draft is complete. I don't want to jinx myself by getting too hyped.

With new found time on your hands you finally take your friend up on her invitation to join her for one of those 'adult baking classes'.

Following new up and coming businesses is never easy, especially when there's little to no news about them. You don't mind though, you love the chase. What you don't expect though is when the owner of a business reaches out to you before you get the chance to catch wind of his new enterprise. It's a great opportunity for your job and would boost travel to the sleepy town. You call back the mysterious owner and set up a date to meet. He sounds excited but you couldn't guess why until you meet him at the front gate.

Part-Time: Male Naga (Cemil) x F!Reader

The only way to save yourself from losing your house after your divorce was by opening one of your rooms to the acclimation program. You'd help house one of the more reclusive peoples while they get on their 'feet'. What you didn't expect is that your housemate would be a very grumpy naga. You've grown up in this area so you've met all sorts of peoples and went to school with fae, nagas, werewolves and so on. You heard some stories about nagas and how their elders went into a long sleep to allow the young ones to pave the way for a better future but you thought that meant something else. Lo and behold a bunch of ancient nagas started waking up and now you're arguing with one to do the damn dishes.

Summary Catalogue Pt.1

So I have quite a few publishing projects I'm working on and will post the first few chapters here just to see how the general response to them will be.

The Empire's Bastards

Male Werewolf x Female Mage

Cyril Rafferty belongs to one of the most prominent noble households in all of the lands. His status and strength are outmatched at the college for mages and knights but he's considered an outcast for his accursed added power. Because of this he trains harder and studies more than anyone in his class to prove his own natural talents.

Shanna Melvy, a talented mage born in the slums of the capital city now a scholar student at the great royal college. She works hard and relentlessly to prove that she belongs there amongst the nobles even though she knows no one will acknowledge her due to status.

Per tradition of the college every second year student will be put into pairs, a mage and a knight. Pairing is always based on skill level and no two people in the school match quite as well as the outcast Cyril and the low birth Shanna, both powerful yet unfitting for any other optional pairs.

Tasks are handed out and permission to leave to school grounds are granted. With no need to fake their real selves in front of the public anymore, how will Cyril and Shanna deal with their doomed pairing?

Male Alien x Female Rogue Scientist

Growing up in Texas and having astronauts in the family didn't help Alice's obsession with space. As a child she dreamed of following in her family's footsteps of working for the space program. However now that she's an adult her dreams have shifted to just being able to pay rent on time. Not being the best nor the brightest in academics coupled with the fear of flying ruined her childhood ambitions, that and her grandparents constantly discouraging her.

That was then but now things are different! At least that's what she'll keep telling herself and her grandfather who insisted on her visiting. She expected another lecture on her life and selling herself short by working in insurance but what she got was something she wasn't ready for...

The Princess Bounty

The crown princess has been missing since the assassination of the queen. Many consider her dead or lost but the king has not lost hope that his long lost daughter is alive. There have been rumors, whispers of a woman with the same name as the lost princess parading as a ranger in the forests south of the kingdom. A bounty is placed to locate her and bring her in to be investigated to see if she is in fact the long lost princess Kandra. Many kingdoms, factions, and tribes try their hands at tracking her down but it becomes an unsuccessful endeavor. The king, at his wits end frees the one man who might be able to find his daughter.

Female Dragon Shifter x Male Mage

A knight slays a dragon and wins riches and prestige beyond his wildest dreams, but it comes with a heavy price; he must raise the daughter of the dragon he had killed. Solana is raised as the daughter of the now Baron Bredon and is declared his sole heir. As she grows so too does her powers, wisdom and questions. Why must she be hidden away and why does she have claws and wings?

This is a semi emergency situation where I need to be out of my apartment by Dec. 18, I still have a month to pay on rent before hand, not sure if I qualify for insurance plus needing to put a deposit down on a house! So yeahhhhh

What I write: MONSTER ROMANCE BETWEEN CONSENTING ADULTS

Behold my creation! I haven't picked up my tablet in over two years so I was afraid I'd be ultra rusty but this turned out better than I had anticipated. This is Duane whose story is One Hundred Dreams, yet to be written but I've had it in my head for years now and I can't wait to start working on it. He will be featured in one of the current active stories but I'm not going to spoil things by saying which one.

I know I haven't gone into too much detail about it but The Long Road, Just Business, 5 Wishes, and now Midnight Oceans all take place in the same universe.

Just Business takes place before The Long Road & 5 Wishes (which both of these stories take place at the same time). Midnight Oceans starts around the same time pt.6 of The Long Road does and you will see an overlap of characters being mentioned.

For those of you who have not read Midnight Oceans but have a fondness for Luctux D. Voxis, his cousin Arthok is the lead male character of that story.
