Recipe - Fruit Mix Protein Smoothie
Today I enjoyed a nice leisure morning with my niece and then felt like doing a workout even though typically I use Sunday as my rest day. I warmed up with a nice 15 minute walk on the treadmill and then did a Tone It Up tone every part in 30 minutes workout. Followed by about 15 minutes of yoga to really stretch my muscles and give me mental clarity. I followed up my workout routine with a protein smoothie to help my recovery process.Â
My favorite part of a workout is actually when I'm done. I'm not one of those people that love working out, I work out because I have to but there is nothing like that feeling you get when you finish your workout. This protein smoothie helps me to take a few more minutes for myself and acknowledge the fact that I worked out! I know it seems silly but when you hate something and still do it, and that thing is good for your mind, body and future it's good to acknowledge that accomplishment!
This is a great post workout drink or breakfast for those days you need something fast and healthy. The Ultimate ProFit has a superior blend of proteins, and mood elevating superfoods and fiber to produce the best results.
Fruit Mix Protein Smoothie
1 cup Almond Milk (or any dairy or non dairy product you desire)
1 scoop Ultimate ProFit Creamy Vanilla
1 or 2 handful frozen fruit (I used a mix of strawberry and blueberry in photo above)
Put all ingredients in blender and blend to desired consistency
