#dash refresh

We have been doing a little bit of Research 🔎👀 and have found that the #1 complaint our users have is that they are directed away from their dash to a new page, and lose their place!

The experts at the Tumblr Headquarters gathered together in an extensive meeting for over a week to try and come up with a solution! Even Adam took a break from hyperventilating under his desk to join us! 

At the very end of this meeting, we had a revelation.

What if every time you clicked anywhere on the site, the page refreshed and you’d be back at the beginning of the dash? That way, you’d never get too far down, and never have to even worry about the problem at all!

We have given Adam the responsibility of writing the code, so the release date of this change is currently TBA. 

He has said that “he already has a lot of projects to work on” and that he is currently “extremely overworked and underpaid” and “would quit if the dental benefits weren’t so good” so send him some thoughts of encouragement! (but not too many he can’t quit he’s the only one who knows website design)
