The line between common sense and thoughtlessness is as thin as paper. Without an umbrella, let's return home together. Through the wind, I can hear it. I pretended not to hear it With my innocent eyes I laughed innocently.
Autumn is slipping past the months. Her replacement? Thunder clouds and heavy rain. He races through wet streets, sneakers squeaking with every step. Heavier are his feet, rubber swelling with unwanted water. At a distance is a woman who appears amid thick mist. The boy would have zipped by her, but her appearance catches his eye. "Mayuuuu...!" He swoops in underneath her small parasol, just nudging the girl by the shoulder as he passes to stand at her side. He leans in just so his head no longer sat open to chilling water. A cold hand comes to clutch the neck of the girl's umbrella, causing a possible, abrupt shift in her walking pace.
"Please excuse me. I hope you don't mind--" for he is dripping wet with the rain. "Where are you headed?" Perhaps he can use this temporary opportunity to keep himself drier for just a little longer. Even if she does shove him off, it is worth a shot with a familiar face! The blond goes on to ask her more, but is stopped by a sneeze! It is only now that he realizes that he is too cold to the touch.
