EVENT 001.

The purpose of the island is to reunite all sacrifices and followers with the gods &/or goddesses that they have worshiped for as long as they can remember. They are provided a certain safety, a reassurance that they would be protected once they arrived there. So, what happens when the safety blanket is pulled right out from under them, just how far would they go for their deity? 

We’re about to find out. A magic based force has swept through the island like a thief in the night, taking all the Gods & Goddesses with it. They have been purged from the island, transporting them to their own personal cages, trapping them all together. They are exposed to a new kind of helplessness, a new suffering blossoming from the divine knowledge that for once, no matter how much they want to help what is theirs, they cannot. 

Their fate, and the fate of the island has been left in the hands of the sacrifices and the followers. They are responsible for finding a way, any way, to get their Gods and Goddesses back. The catch being, that they must work together - it’s a all or nothing sort of deal. You get them all back, or you get none of them back. 

So good luck darlings, let’s hope your willing to fight for your faith.

TASK 002.

The second task will work in tandem with the event. For followers &/or sacrifices, you have several options. They are as follows: You may write a letter, prayer, or ritual in which your muse is trying to contact their God &/or Goddess. Let us see their emotions, we want to feel feelings and maybe cry a little. You can also write a solo piece that gives us a look at them preforming the aforementioned ritual or prayer, depending on how saucy you like to get with it. As always, you have the creative freedom to kind of make this your own, but we wanted to give you a general base for the idea.

For the Gods &/or Goddesses, you should write something in reaction to the current situation. It can be an inner monologue that gives us insight into how they feel when they are forcibly separated from their sacrifices &/or followers, a letter in response to the separation, addressed to the sacrifice or follower, them attempting (in vain) to contact them, or answer their prayers but failing. Strife, angst, exhaustion, gimme that shit. 

DETAILS.

Event threads should be tagged as ‘DARKEVENTS.001′ and ‘DARKEVENTS’, Tasks should be tagged with ‘DARKNESS.002′ and ‘DARKTASKS’.

For clarification, during the event, sacrifices &/or followers may only interact on the dash with one another, they are unable to contact their own God &/or Goddess, nor anyone else’s. The same goes for Gods &/or Goddesses, they may only interact with one another during event threads. Participation in the event is mandatory - however the task is optional. 

We will be dropping hints throughout the week via the main on how to bring the Gods &/or Goddesses back to the island, so make sure you are paying attention to posts for clues however we will not be providing the exact method - so we do encourage you to work together to figure it out.
