The only machinima series that has ever made me laugh harder than Red vs. Blue has is "Matchmaking" by Darkspire Films
It's a shame that there were only 23 episodes. I think about it almost every day. It was absolutely hilarious, and absolutely brilliant, and I hate how easily Darkspire just moved away from it. The year-and-a-half wait between episode 19 and episode 20 was a KILLER, especially since it had been something that I was keeping up with from the very beginning. And then when the Reach series started, I was so happy. But they got to episode 3 and then just disappeared off the face of the internet. And I used to check their YouTube page every day to see if there was a new episode, but now I only check it about once a week. And I'm still waiting. Because even when they half-ass things, they do a damn good job. It always sucks when people have something that is pure gold, but they don't realize it.
Part of me wants to spam Rooster Teeth with links to this series. I don't have a doubt in my mind that they'd hire everybody from Darkspire. They'd fit in perfectly at Rooster Teeth.
Darkspire Films: Test Scene.
I'm a huge Darkspire fan. Almost as much of a fan of them as I am of Rooster Teeth. And they haven't put anything up in a really really really long time. And this was really really really nice to see. Even if it made no sense at all.
There hasn't been a decent machinima since Matchmaking Episode 20 by DarkSpire films.
And no, I don't count Red vs. Blue as a machinima anymore. It's way more than that. RvB should just be on television at this point. It's surpassed machinima.

Like "fuckyeahmatchmaking" or "fuckyeahdarkspire" or something.
That's the only machinima series I actually prefer to RvB.
