[ THE WRITER & THE PACE ]
i have eight years of writing experience under my belt. i write in 3rd person (past tense) and utilize a snowball style. instead of starting with massive multi-paragraph walls of text, i prefer to open threads with shorter, punchier setups so we can find our characters' chemistry. from there, the reply length, worldbuilding, and detail naturally snowball and grow. i will always mirror your length.
because i am chronically ill, my physical energy and spoons fluctuate heavily. patience is a requirement; replies may take a couple of days, but i am highly communicative and love chatting, plotting, and sharing headcanons ooc.
[ THE CHARACTERS & SETTINGS ]
i write original characters only. i do not write as canon characters. my cast is almost entirely queer, and trans/non-binary/mlm themes are deeply integrated into their identities. for faceclaims, i use a mix of manga/drawn art and aesthetic real-life photos.
plot-wise, i heavily prefer original, fandomless worldbuilding. however, i am more than happy to build original plots within established, atmospheric settings (such as silent hill, saw, or hannibal, for example) using our ocs.
[ THE NARRATIVE & BOUNDARIES ]
i write heavy angst. i enjoy putting characters through complex, difficult situations and making them earn their peace; fluff is a rarity. while slow-burn romance is welcome, it is never the main driving force of the story—i prefer focusing on complicated dynamics, tragic soulmates, or connections built on shared struggles.
dark, mature themes (death, gore, religious imagery, and substance use) are common in my writing. hard limits: absolutely no inc•st, or p•dophilia. r•cism and s•xism are also hard nos. smut is fine as a narrative element, but it must be earned through chemistry and serve the plot rather than being the focus.
