I started a new blog that I will update daily about my inner most thoughts I have working as a barista and any other random events that happen during my shift.

That has already been explained multiple times on past posts on this blog. I have also explained multiple times that only 3 basic themes and 4 alt themes would be changed this year. If you have any issues with things, please bring it up earlier. Otherwise, I can’t accomodate your requests when it’s after the fact.

To state again, for several reasons:

- The overall theme and the basic themes are (ideally supposed) to reflect recent chapters in the manga. The manga has been on hiatus for 2 years. Thus, I did not want to decide on another overall theme. because 1) it might not be as good, and 2) it won’t be as relevant. That extends to most of the basic themes.- Lack of participants for last year due to poor promotion (due to my slowness and lack of help), my curse of obscurity, and other factors. I spent days looking through word blogs and dictionaries and thesauruses for those themes. I thought I would try harder to get this event out this year. Basically, I really don’t want all those themes to go to waste with barely anyone writing for them. I feel that really strongly. (and imo, they’re amazing themes)- Several people worked on their submissions for last year and didn’t finish them. Hopefully, I can nag at least some of them to finish this time. (This way, they won’t have to start from scratch.)- One of the main participants of last year was only able to do b/w outline comics last year. If she wishes, she can simply colour the old themes.

Therefore, again:

2k14 is a repackage of last year with 3 new basic themes, and 4 new alt themes.Also, I chose which themes would be kept according to what I believed would be the most liked/best themes, and I went with my gut when choosing themes with tied poll result numbers. I believed these to be small matters, so I chose to pick myself rather than extend the theme-making duration.

Again, if there are things that people here disagree with, please talk to me as soon as possible so we can try to work out a compromise or something. I also do not have a monopoly on this event. I have posted several invitations to help me, and anyone can make their own event as well.
